Stampin’ Up! Sneak Peek – Humble Home Welcome Home Card

Happy Friday! I used the adorable Humble Home Bundle (stamp set and punch) to create today’s card along with paper from the Nests of Winter 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. The Forever Forest Dies were used to provide some background components. Both the Humble Home Bundle and the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper will be available on September 4 for customer orders.

I selected a Crumb Cake print from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper and adhered a panel of this paper to a Real Red mat. Linen Thread was wrapped around the panel three times towards the top of the panel then I tied a small bow. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. The roof image from the Humble Home Stamp Set was stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto a small scrap of white cardstock, then I second generation stamped the brick image just below the roof in Crumb Cake ink. I used the Humble Home Builder Punch to punch out the house as well as a Real Red heart. The small heart was adhered to the front of the house using a Mini Glue Dot.

On a 3″ square piece of white cardstock, I used a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend to create a hill towards the bottom of the square. I then adhered the punched-out house to the square using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Forever Forest Dies I die cut the two smallest pine trees from Old Olive cardstock and two clouds from Balmy Blue cardstock. these were adhered around the house using liquid glue. The square was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiments from the Humble Home Stamp Set were stamped onto the sentiment label in Real Red ink. I then matted the sentiment to a piece of Real Red cardstock and adhered the sentiment label to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

An additional sentiment was stamped onto the inside panel in Real Red ink, and I stamped the gingerbread house image onto the lower corner of the panel in Pecan Pie ink. I used Real Red, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the house. The panel was then adhered to a Real Red mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same gingerbread house image was stamped onto the envelope front and colored in using Stampin’ Blends. I adhered a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and trim the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. Several copper Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems were adhered to the card front to complete the project.

I love the adorable house images in the Humble Home Bundle! And the sentiments cover everything from “welcome home” to “Merry Christmas”, and “thank you” sentiments making this a versatile set!
