I ordered the Haunted Home Kit, and it arrived the other day. I couldn’t wait to put it together! This cute little Halloween home decor item is absolutely adorable! The kit came with everything to “build” the house, including adhesives, punch out windows, door, shutters and other decorative items. If you decide to purchase this kit it is recommended that you use a glue gun to assemble the house structure. Other adhesives are included for the smaller items.

Here is my haunted house. This house measures approximately 9-1/2″ wide, 8″ deep, and 10-1/2″ Tall so it is a good size. The kit even includes victorian style fencing and a free standing tree! Bats are flying over the widow’s walk tower!

Some of the smaller details include a cute little spider (he’s not scary at all!), a spider web, black cat, pumpkins, a banner and a ghost. The door knocker is a skull, and the door handle is a bone!

I was having issues with my glue gun, so it took me a little longer to assemble this house. For those of you with a properly working glue gun it should take about an hour to assemble the house from start to finish. This is a home decor item that you can store and use year after year, too! The bottom is open on the house so imagine placing a few battery-operated tea lights inside of the house to give it a fun glow.

Check out the chandelier in the upper window! It’s these types of details that make this such a cute kit!
