Inky Bee Stampers

Happy Monday! Here is a sneak peek of a card created using products from the beautiful Regal Winter Suite Collection. If you like florals, jewel tones and highly saturated colors, this is the suite for you! While the name of the suite specifies “winter”, it can really be used to create projects any time of the year and the Regal Flora Stamp Set contains every-day sentiments. The Regal Winter Suite can be found in the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog and will be available for customer purchase beginning on September 4.

I selected a pretty multi-color floral print from the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper and cut a panel to 5-1/4″ x 4″. The panel was adhered to a Bubble Bath cardstock mat, then adhered to the front of a Berry Burst card base. I used the decorative rectangle die from the Regal Flora Bundle to cut out a rectangle from Bubble Bath cardstock. This die is suitable for use as a sentiment label and will cut an insert and frame at the same time. I chose to use the rectangle as a background for some die cut florals and the rectangle was adhered to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Another feature of the decorative rectangle die is that it cuts slots at opposite corners, and you can see that I have woven some of the Blackberry Bliss & Gold Textured Ribbon through the slots. I am thrilled by the way, to have Blackberry Bliss & Gold Ribbon! So rich looking! Check out all of the beautiful colors in this paper!

I used the Regal Flora Stamp Set to stamp several flowers and a flower bud in Berry Burst ink and several leaf images were stamped in Wild Wheat and Pretty Peacock. I also fussy cut one white flower image from the designer series paper. I used the Regal Flora Dies to cut out the remaining images then arranged these onto the Bubble Bath rectangle. The “Missing You” sentiment was stamped onto a 1/4″ wide piece of white cardstock in Blackberry Bliss ink and I cut an angle on each side of the sentiment then adhered the sentiment to the card front using a combination of liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

An additional sentiment was stamped onto the inside panel in Blackberry Bliss ink and then I second generation stamped one of the leaf images in Wild Wheat ink over top of the sentiment. I added a 3/4″ strip of coordinating designer series paper across the bottom of the panel. The panel was then adhered to a Bubble Bath mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

To decorate the front of the envelope, I first and second-generation stamped the leaf image in Wild Wheat ink and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was added to the envelope flap. To finish up the project I adhered three Berry Burst Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.
