Inky Bee Stampers

Today’s card was created with the Changing Leaves Stamp Set and the Changing Leaves Dies along with the Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. You will find the Changing Leaves Bundle (which also includes a hybrid embossing folder) and the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper in the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store!

Designer Series Paper and die cuts make for a quick card and this card is no exception! I selected two fall prints from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper pack in an acorn print and a dotted print. The acorn print paper was cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and the dotted print was cut to 5-1/4″ x 2″. The dotted print paper was adhered down the center of the acorn print, then adhered to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Changing Leaves Stamp Set was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Cajun Craze ink. I used the long, slender label from the Changing Leaves Dies to cut out the sentiment, then used the round circle in the set to cut a circle from Gold Foil. The slender sentiment was adhered to the center of the gold circle. Before adhering the sentiment label to the card front, I tied a bow from Mossy Meadow Natural Tones Linen Thread (available September 4) to the center of the card front. The sentiment label was then adhered over top of the bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Changing Leaves Dies to cut out some greenery pieces from Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler cardstocks then arranged the pieces around the sentiment label unit.

I kept the inside panel very simple and partially stamped the maple leaf image from the Changing Leaves Stamp Set across the bottom of the panel in Cajun Craze ink. I used a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend to color in the leaf images. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same leaf image was stamped onto the envelope front and colored in. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and several Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (available September 4) were adhered to the card front to finish up the project.
