Inky Bee Stampers

My July Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived…the beautiful Painted Petals Kit! This kit makes a total of 9 cards – 3 each of 3 different designs. The cards feature lovely watercolor flowers and coordinating envelopes and the sentiments are geared towards friendship. Just lovely!

This kit was very quick to put together. I just punched out the die cut flowers with frames and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The bubble sentiment labels were also included in the kit so all I had to do was stamp the sentiments. The fronts of the envelopes coordinate with the cards, too!

Because I like to decorate the insides of my cards, I used the provided stamp set to stamp an additional sentiment onto the inside of the card, then stamped the beautiful flower image onto the lower corner. This flower would be beautiful colored in with Stampin’ Blends but I chose to leave it uncolored. Either way, it is stunning!

All three styles of cards include some ink splatter on the card fronts along with a pre-printed, faded images of the flowers. This combined with the pop out flowers and frames give the cards a dreamy look.

The inside of this card was stamped with an additional sentiment and the floral image. The stamp set that is included with the Painted Petals Kit includes five different sentiments, the floral image and a texture image.

Here is the last style of card included in the kit. This one may be my favorite. I love poppies! You might notice the pretty embellishments on this card. They were included in the kit also!

I finished off the inside of the card the same as the other two styles – with an additional sentiment stamped in Gray Granite along with the flower image. Did you notice that the inside of the envelope flaps are also decorated?

The Painted Petals Kit also arrived in a pretty box and contained everything needed to complete the cards including directions, card bases and envelopes, a Gray Granite Ink Spot, stamp set, adhesives, and embellishments! Back to School Sales Tax Holiday (US only)
