Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! If you’re stopping over from Shirley’s blog or you are starting with my blog thanks so much for stopping by! Our challenge for today’s blog hop is a fun fold! I know we’re going to see lots of great fun folds from my team members so let’s get started!

I created this interlocking fancy fold card using the Golden Greenery Bundle, Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Gold Mercury Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper. The products from the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection are stunning and a must have if you will be creating your own holiday cards and projects. I got the card base measurements and score lines for this fun fold from a recent Gina K. Designs You Tube video. The card design is my own.
The card base measures 10-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at 1-5/8″ and 3-1/4″ on each end of the card base. I added 1-1/2″ wide panels to the two left and two right sections of the card base in a green and gold print from the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Moving to the inside of the card, I second generation stamped one of the greenery images from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set onto a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock using Old Olive and Mossy Meadow inks. Using the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, I stamped the “Merry Christmas” sentiment over the greenery image using Mossy Meadow ink. The panel was then adhered to a Mossy Meadow mat, then adhered to the center panel of the card base and centered from left to right and top to bottom.

Two rectangles are attached to the front panels of this card base. I cut a panel of Very Vanilla and gold paper from the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper for the larger rectangle, and this was matted to a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock. The smaller rectangle panel was cut from the Gold Mercury Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper and also matted to a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock. The larger rectangle was adhered to the right front panel of the card base using liquid glue and the smaller rectangle was adhered to the left front panel of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. When this card is closed the left rectangle slips between the right card base panel and the smaller rectangle on the right to “lock” into place.

I used a sentiment from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set to stamp the “Love & Joy” sentiment onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in Mossy Meadow ink. The Spotlight on Nature Dies were used to cut out the sentiment as well as the sentiment mat in Mossy Meadow. The sentiment was then adhered to the upper left of the small rectangle on the card front.

I die cut two pine boughs from Old Olive cardstock using the Golden Greenery Dies and these were adhered to the small rectangle on the card front with the ends tucked up under the bottom of the sentiment label. A Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon bow was adhered just under the sentiment label using two Mini Glue Dots.

The same greenery image from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set was stamped onto the front of the envelope in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive ink. I adhered a coordinating piece of the designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips.
Here is a side view of the card…

The gold foiling on the Season of Green & Gold DSP and the Gold Mercury Vellum combines beautifully with the greenery images from the Golden Greenery Bundle to create some gorgeous holiday cards! The products from the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection are available now in the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store.
