Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say Feel Better Soon Card

There are times when we need to make a card in a hurry. And we want that card to look amazing, right? Grab the Wanted to Say Dies and some cheerful Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and you’ll have a card ready to mail in minutes! This card is a get-well card but the Wanted to Say Dies also include a “Happy Birthday”, “Celebrate”, and “You’re too kind” sentiments along with some additional dies to cut out a bow, flowers, stars and hearts!

I selected a panel of paper from the Full of Life Designer Series Paper pack in blues, greens and yellow stripes and adhered a panel to a Basic White cardstock mat. Before adhering this panel to the the card front, I wrapped some Balmy Blue Baker’s Twine around the upper third of the panel and tied a small bow to the left side. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Crushed Curry card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “Feel Better Soon” sentiment and its background piece were die cut from Basic White and Crushed Curry cardstocks, respectively. Before die cutting the detailed sentiment I first adhered a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of the white cardstock. This makes adhering the finely detailed sentiment easier to adhere to its background. The sentiment was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I adhered a 1/2″ strip of the designer series paper down the right side of the panel, then adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

To finish up the card I adhered a coordinating piece of the designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. Three Opal Rounds in blue were added to the card front.

The Wanted to Say Dies are suitable for both feminine and masculine cards. And did you notice there was no stamping involved? Super simple! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.
