My card for today was created using the Frosted Forest Bundle and the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. This card was quick to put together and required few supplies! Do you ever struggle to pick colors for your projects? I took my color inspiration for this card from the colors listed on the back of the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper pack. This takes all of the guess work out of creating!
I first selected one of the beautiful scenes from the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper and cut the 6″ x 6″ piece of paper down to 5-1/4″ x 4″ – making sure to center the pretty scene as best as I could. This panel was adhered to a white mat, then adhered to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base. I used the silhouette die from the Frosted Forest Dies to cut out the line of trees from Blackberry Bliss cardstock. This die cut image of the trees was then adhered to the bottom of the designer series paper panel on the card front.

I used another piece of the same designer series paper to stamp the sentiment on Blackberry Bliss ink. The second from smallest rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies was used to cut out the sentiment. I also cut a mat for the sentiment from Blackberry Bliss cardstock using the second from largest rectangle die. The sentiment label was then adhered to its mat. Before adhering the sentiment to the card front, I adhered a piece of folded Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon to the top right of the card using Stampin’ Seal. The sentiment label was then adhered over top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside panel, I stamped the small pine tree image in Misty Moonlight ink onto the lower corner of the panel. Misty Moonlight is one of the colors featured on the designer series paper print. I then second generation stamped the same image two more times, varying the height of the trees as I stamped. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same pine tree image was stamped onto the envelope front several times. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. To finish up the card, I adhered several Blackberry Bliss Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

The Frosted Forest Bundle (stamps, dies and decorative masks) will be available on July 3 as an Online Exclusive in the Online Store.
This is such a pretty and simple card. This would make a great birthday, friendship or sympathy card as well, just change up the sentiment on the front of the card. If you would like to recreate this card, you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below. Have a wonderful day!
