I can’t seem to stay away from the Excellent Eggs Bundle! Today’s project uses the Square Pillow Boxes, the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks and the Excellent Eggs Dies to create this quick and easy treat box!
What is so great about the Square Pillow Boxes is that they are pre-cut and pre-scored. To decorate the outside of the boxes all you need to do is blend a little ink over the box before it is assembled, stamp on the box, or do what I did here and use one of the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks to blend the pattern onto the box. This was so quick and easy! I did need to reposition the mask two times in order to blend the pattern over the entire surface but the masks are very easy to line up and reposition! I used small pieces of Post It Tape to hold the mask down while I was ink blending.

Once the pattern from the mask was ink blended across the entire box surface, I assembled the box by creasing along the pre-scored lines, removing the protective tape covers, then assembling the sides of the box. The top and bottom flaps simply fold in on themselves and stay closed on their own. I then cut out an egg shape from Gorgeous Grape cardstock using the Excellent Eggs Dies. I also cut four zig zag shapes from Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst, Basic White and Fresh Freesia cardstock using the same dies. The zig zag pieces were then adhered to the front of the die cut egg using liquid glue. I used a pair of paper snips to trim the strips so they were flush with the sides of the egg.

I wrapped a length of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon around the Square Pillow Box vertically and tied a bow to the side of the box. The decorated egg was adhered to the front of the box using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added several Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the eggs as well to jazz it up a little bit. This completes this fun little treat box and it was so quick and easy!

The Square Pillow Boxes are a great option if you need to make multiples and you can decorate them however you like!
