Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Center Pop Out Thank You Card

Today’s card features the beautiful Simply Zinnia Bundle and the Flowering Zinnias 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper on a fun Center Pop Out fun fold. This fun fold shows off this paper beautifully!

I started with a card base in Mossy Meadow measuring 11″ x 4-1/4″. The card base was scored at 2-1/4″, 3-5/8″, 7-3/8″ and 8-3/4″. The two outer scorelines are valley folds and the two center scorelines are mountain folds to create the center pop out. I cut a zinnia print from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper for the two outer panels on the card front and a dotted patterned paper sits on the center panel. All of the designer series paper panels were adhered to Daffodil Delight mats, then adhered to the card front.

On basic white cardstock I stamped the single zinnia image from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set three times – once in Flirty Flamingo, once in Highland Heather and once in Pumpkin Pie. The two-leaf image was also stamped three times onto white cardstock. I used Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Pumpkin Pie to color in the images of the zinnias and Old Olive to color in the leaves. I then used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. I also die cut four of the leaf vein images from white cardstock. Rather than using these pieces of leaf veins I chose to use them as greenery. I also die cut several of the Perennial Postage stamp rectangles. One from a Berry Burst designer series paper and one from basic white cardstock for the sentiment label.

I stamped the “Thank you so much” sentiment onto the white sentiment label in Old Olive ink then adhered the label to the larger postage stamp die cut image. The sentiment was then adhered to the center panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then arranged the three die cut zinnias, the leaf veins and the leaves around the zinnias. The Flirty Flamingo and Pumpkin Pie zinnias were adhered using liquid glue and the center, Highland Heather zinnia was adhered in the center using Stampin’ Dimensionals and overlaps the top of the sentiment label slightly.

On the back panel, I partially stamped the zinnia image again in Pumpkin Pie ink then colored in the image with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. The panel was adhered to a Daffodil Delight mat, then adhered to the center panel on the back of the card.

The same zinnia image was partially stamped onto the envelope front and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. To finish up the card I adhered three green Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to the center panel of the card front.

You can find the Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection in the Online Exclusives section of the online store.
