Inky Bee Stampers

The products in the A Little Latte Suite Collection are so much fun and perfect for creating cards to send to your coffee and team drinking friends! For today’s card I used the Latte Love Bundle and the A Little Latte 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Two different prints from the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper were chosen for the card front. I cut each panel to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″. On the lighter panel, I marked 1″ down from the top right corner and 1″ up from the bottom left corner with a pencil. I then stacked the panels together and lined up the 1″ marks on my Paper Trimmer and cut the panels on the diagonal. While I only made one card to share with you today, by cutting the two panels together, you can actually create two cards.

The cut panels were adhered to the front of a Petal Pink card base. I cut a length of the Wavy Trim and adhered the trim across the seam where the two designer series paper panels meet. I then used my scissors to trim the ends even with the sides of the designer series paper. The coffee cup image was stamped in Calypso Coral ink onto a scrap piece of Petal Pink cardstock and I stamped the spoon onto a scrap piece of Pecan Pie cardstock using Pecan Pie ink. I used Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends to color in the coffee cup.

A circle was punched from Early Espresso cardstock using a 2-3/8″ Circle Punch. The coffee cup was then adhered to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The spoon was adhered towards the bottom of the coffee cup using liquid glue. The circle unit was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned so that the upper left of the circle was slightly overlapping the area where the designer series papers meet. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock, and I cut a banner end onto the right side of the label. The sentiment label was then adhered to the card front at an angle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel, I repeated stamping of the coffee cup and color it in using Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

I again repeated stamping of the coffee cup onto the envelope front and colored in the image. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. I added three Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots to the card front to the complete the project.

I love the Calypso Coral coffee cups…they remind me of Fiesta Ware! And it just so happens that Calypso Coral goes beautifully with the Pecan Pie, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso colors in the designer series papers!
