Inky Bee Stampers

My January Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived…the Lovely Lavender kit! The cards and gift tags in this kit are Valentine’s Day themed and all decked out in purples and absolutely gorgeous! This kit also coordinates with products from the new Perennial Lavender Suite. 

The Lovely Lavender kit came with everything I needed to complete a total of eight cards – four of two different designs, and four gift tags! Instructions were included in the kit to make putting the cards and gift tags together easy. I chose to follow the directions on the included instruction sheet, but you can assemble your kit however you would like…including using some of the coordinating Perennial Lavender products to make your own creations! Also included in the kit were adhesives, Linen Thread, a Gorgeous Grape Ink Spot, stamps, card bases, coordinating envelopes and punch out flowers, leaves and sentiment labels!

One of the card styles is this landscape card. This card involved a little stamping then adhering the pieces to the card front. It doesn’t get any easier than that! Check out the inside of the envelope which coordinates with the card.

It is difficult to tell from the photos but the purple border around the octagon shape on the card is actually foiled so it provides a little sparkle. Here are all four cards completed.

If you are like me, you like to gift a little sweet treat on Valentine’s Day. Our sons are grown but they still get a Valentine’s Day treat and these beautiful gift tags will be perfect to attach to Valentine’s Day hearts full of chocolates!

Here is the portrait style card. I love the lavender stems peeking out from the foiled frame! The pretty polka dot background is a nice touch, and this print also shows up on the inside of the coordinating envelopes!

Here are the four cards completed. Just lovely!

I used the floral stamp that came with my Paper Pumpkin kit to stamp onto the envelope fronts and the insides of the cards. I also added sentiments on the inside of the cards.

My cards will be going to some of the residents at a local area hospital for the chronically ill to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day and hopefully brighten their day!
