Inky Bee Stampers

Have you checked out the fun Square Pillow Boxes from the Bee Mine Suite in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog? If not, check them out! These easy to assemble boxes are perfect for Valentine’s Day treats. You can stamp directly onto the box surface, or ink blend directly onto the box to change up the color, as I did with today’s project. You receive a total of 10 boxes in the pack. I used the cute little bee from the Bee My Valentine Bundle to decorate my box along with paper from the Most Adored 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. You can earn the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper for free with a $50 order!

I started off by using a Blending Brush to color the outside surface of the Square Pillow Box in Flirty Flamingo ink. After allowing the ink to dry, I quickly assembled the box.

I used my Circle Punches to punch out a 2″ circle from specialty designer series paper and a 2-3/8″ circle to punch out a circle from Real Red cardstock. The circles were then adhered together using a little liquid glue. Before adhering the circle unit to the box front, I wrapped a length of Sheer Ribbon around the box vertically and tied a large bow.

On scraps of white cardstock, I stamped the bee’s body in Flirty Flamingo ink, then stamped over this with the bee’s stripes using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I repeated this for the bee’s wings. The bee’s antennae were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then used the Bee Builder Punch to punch out all of the pieces, then used liquid glue to assemble the bee. The bee was then adhered to the front of the box using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “bee mine” sentiment from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set was stamped onto a 2″ x 1/2″ white sentiment label. I used my paper snips to cut a banner end on the right side of the label, then used liquid glue to adhere the label just under the lower right of the bee.

I also used the Bee Builder Punch to punch out several small white hearts and these were adhered to the front of the box. Several flowers from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers embellishment pack were also adhered to the front of the box.

The top of the box opens with two flaps to make filling easy! This adorable box is perfect for holding treats or small gifts.
