Inky Bee Stampers

I hope you enjoyed Christmas with your family and friends! My husband and I spent the day with our two grown sons, my mom and our two Westies, Maezie and Mackenzie – it was a wonderful day! I have another quick and easy, and oh so pretty, card for you today using products from the Forever Love Suite. I featured a card last week using products from this suite. Today’s card uses the Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes which are included in the suite. There are a total of ten cards and ten envelopes in the pack. The cards contain gold foil flowers on both the front and the back and lovely, intricately cut Very Vanilla envelopes.

I used a Blending Brush to blend Moody Mauve ink over the front of the Gold Foiled Flowers Card base, and I concentrated the ink at the centers of the larger flowers. I then used a dry paper towel to buff any ink residue off of the gold foiled areas. 

I left the back of the card base plain.

Next, I stamped the three-rose image from the Lifetime of Love Stamp Set in Moody Mauve ink and used the coordinating die to cut out the image. I also die cut two of the leaf stems from Moody Mauve cardstock.

I pulled the thank you sentiment from the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set just because I like the font so much. The sentiment was stamped in Moody Mauve ink onto a Very Vanilla sentiment label. The label was matted to a piece of Moody Mauve cardstock. The sentiment label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned onto the lower right corner of the card front. The three-rose image was also adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned just above the left corner of the sentiment label. The two leaf stems were tucked just under the roses on either side.

I kept the inside panel very simple and stamped a single rose in Moody Mauve ink in the lower corner. The panel was adhered to a mat in Moody Mauve and then adhered to the inside of the card base.

The same single rose image was stamped onto the envelope front. Because the flap on the envelope is beautiful all on its own, no decoration was added here. I tied a knot bow from Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon and added this between the roses and sentiment label on the card front. A single Petal Pink Foiled Gem was added to the sentiment label to complete the card.
