Inky Bee Stampers

I used the Enduring Beauty Bundle to create this easy and pretty thinking of you card. The Enduring Beauty Bundle includes a stamp set, dies and the Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks. The Decorative Masks make quick work of coloring the large image from the Enduring Beauty Stamp Set. This bundle will be available for customer orders beginning on January 4 from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog.

I started off by adhering a panel of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper to the front of an Early Espresso card base at an angle. The Distressed Gold Paper really adds some elegance to this card! Next, the large flower image was stamped onto a Basic White cardstock panel in Crushed Curry ink. I then secured the stamped panel to my work panel using Post It Tape.

There are a total of five decorative masks. Starting with Mask #1, I lined up the mask to the stamped flower image and using a Blending Brush, blended Daffodil Delight ink over the stamped image. The masks are easy to line up using the provided notch! I proceeded through the masks to complete the image. The shadows on the flowers were ink blended with Crushed Curry. The leaves were blended in Parakeet Party with the shadows provided by Granny Apple Green. Lastly, the flower centers were ink blended with Copper Clay. The Decorative Masks provide a perfectly colored image every time!

The Enduring Beauty Dies were used to cut out the large floral image and the image was then adhered to the card front and positioned towards the top of the card. I also cut out two leaf images from Granny Apple Green and these leaves were tucked around the large floral die cut. A sentiment was stamped in Copper Clay ink onto a piece of white cardstock, and I used the coordinating label die from the Enduring Beauty Dies to cut out the sentiment. A length of Copper Clay Textured Ribbon was adhered to the back of the sentiment label using Stampin’ Seal. I then adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the ribbon ends were trimmed down.

The inside panel was kept very simple and decorated with a 1/4″ strip of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and then the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

To finish off the card, I added large yellow Glossy Dots to the centers of the large flowers on the card front. A piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap.

I love the simplicity of creating a perfectly colored image using the Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks! There are lots of possibilities with the Enduring Beauty Bundle and I’m looking forward to experimenting with different colors! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.
