Inky Bee Stampers

I created these beautiful holiday cards using the easy stack and cut technique and images from the Magical Meadow Bundle and paper from the Winter Meadow 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack. As of the writing of this blog post these items are still available in the Online Store. This particular stack and cut only requires two cuts to make one predominantly white card and one predominantly Pretty Peacock card featuring a contrasting wedge shape at the center of the card. Cutting instructions are included in the linked pdf tutorial below.

The stacked and cut pieces were adhered to white cardstock panels measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″. I wanted the die cut greenery to really stand out on the card fronts so white greenery was adhered to the predominantly Pretty Peacock card front, and Pretty Peacock greenery was adhered to the predominantly white card front. Loose Silver Sequins were adhered to the berry portions of the greenery pieces for a little sparkle. The matted sentiment labels also provide some nice contrast.

On the inside panels an additional sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink and the pine greenery image was third generation stamped over the sentiments. The panels were matted to white mats then adhered to the insides of the card bases.

The same pine image was third generation stamped onto the envelope fronts in Pretty Peacock ink. Coordinating pieces of designer series paper were adhered to the envelope flaps and I used paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flaps.
