Inky Bee Stampers

I pulled out the lovely Countryside Corners Bundle and the Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to create today’s card. I am so in love with these pretty blues and they are perfect for a Thinking of You card!

A panel of the Night of Navy print from the Countryside Inn paper was adhered to a Basic White mat. I used a length of Boho Blue Textured Ribbon and wrapped the ribbon diagonally across the panel and secured the ends to the back of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. The panel unit was then adhered to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.

Using the Countryside Corners Dies, I die cut a second piece of designer series paper using the 2nd from the largest die. This octagon was then adhered to the card front over top of the ribbon. Another octagon was die cut using the 2nd from the smallest dies in Basic White. Using the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment onto this smaller octagon in Night of Navy ink. The sentiment label was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was centered over the larger octagon.

I stamped a second sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set onto the inside panel in Night of Navy ink. A simple flower from the Modern Garden Stamp Set was stamped in Night of Navy ink several times onto the corner of the panel. The flower centers were stamped in Boho Blue ink. The panel was matted to a piece of Boho Blue, then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same flowers were stamped onto the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Several blue Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems were adhered to the card front to complete the project.

I hadn’t used the Countryside Corners Bundle or the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper in quite a while and it was like seeing an old friend! The blues are just beautiful, and I just ordered another pack of this designer series paper. Both are on low inventory so if you’d like to add these items to your stash…order soon!
