Inky Bee Stampers

I’m sure you have heard me say this before – pretty doesn’t need to be complicated! Today’s card was created using the lovely Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. This paper can stand all on its own! Just add ribbon, a sentiment and embellishments and you’re done!

I chose a scene from the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper pack and adhered the panel to a piece of Petal Pink cardstock. I wrapped a piece of pink ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack around the bottom portion of the card and secured the ends to the back of the panel. A second length of ribbon was slipped under the wrapped ribbon, and I tied a bow. I used the Deckled Circles Dies to cut out my sentiment label in Petal Pink and the label mat from Granny Apple Green. The “Thank you” sentiment from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set was stamped onto the label in Granny Apple Green. The label was adhered to its mat, then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The small flower images from the Garden Meadow Stamp Set were stamped in Granny Apple Green ink onto the inside panel and I used Stampin’ Blends in Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight to color in the images. The inside panel was adhered to a Petal Pink mat, then adhered to the inside of the card base.

The same small flowers images were stamped onto the envelope front and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. I added a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope flap and used my paper snips to trim away the excess paper. Three Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies were adhered to the card front to complete the project.
