Inky Bee Stampers

Here is a thank you card I created using the adorable images from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set. I also used a pretty floral print paper from the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack along with a sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set. Our little feline is spotlighted in the circle window with the help from a 2-3/8″ Circle Punch. The Garden Walk Designer Series Paper can be found in the Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog but will be retiring soon…so grab it if you want it!

I started by adhering a small floral print piece of the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper to a Pretty Peacock cardstock mat. I then used my 2-3/8″ Circle Punch to punch through both layers at the top of the panel to create a window. On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the cat image from the Fluffliest Friends Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color in the image then adhered the image to the back of the punched panel. The circle nicely spotlights our feline friend! The panel was then adhered to the front of a Wild Wheat card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set I stamped the “thank you” sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto a white sentiment label. The label was then matted to a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock. I applied a small area of Stampin’ Seal below the punched window and adhered two lengths of Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon at an angle. The sentiment label was then adhered over top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I used the dotted image from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set to establish some ground at the bottom of the panel. I then stamped the three-flower image from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set across the bottom of the panel using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I also stamped the bee image once above the flowers. The stamped images were then colored in with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the panel to a mat in Pretty Peacock, and then adhered this unit to the inside of the card base. I love the happy little bees hovering above the flowers!

I repeated stamping of the dots, flowers and bees onto the envelope front and colored in the images with Stampin’ Blends. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. A single Pretty Peacock sequin was added to the sentiment label on the card front to complete the card.

I love the cheerful, happy images from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set! This card makes a great thank you card but would also make a fun birthday card or thinking of you card as well.
