Inky Bee Stampers

I love a beautiful mountain scene! Today’s card was created using the Forever Forest Bundle and pretty Misty Moonlight pine tree print from the Winter Meadow 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack. I’m nearly out of this beautiful paper and will be ordering more!

I used the mountain Dies from the Forever Forest Dies set to cut out two mountain ranges from a muted Smokey Slate print. I adhered the mountains together, staggering the mountain tops, then adhered these to the bottom of a 5-1/4″ x 4″ panel of the pine tree print from the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used my paper snips to trim the right and left edges of the mountains so that they were flush with the panel. The panel was then adhered to a white mat.

I die cut three trees of varying heights from white cardstock using the Forever Forest Dies. I used a Blending Brush to blend Misty Moonlight ink over the trees – blending some areas darker and some lighter. The trees were then adhered to the panel and were tucked behind the mountains. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out a circle from Misty Moonlight cardstock. The “Winter Wishes” sentiment from the Magical Meadow Stamp Set was stamped in white ink onto the circle. I doubled a length of Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon and adhered this to the upper right corner of the panel. The sentiment label was then adhered over top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The pine tree image from the Forever Forest Stamp Set was used to second-generation stamp pine trees onto the inside panel, then additional pine trees were stamped full strength (no stamping off first). Without reinking my blending brush, I lightly blended Misty Moonlight ink across the entire panel to continue to misty look of the card. An additional sentiment was stamped at the top of the panel in Misty Moonlight ink. I then second and third-generation stamped snowflakes across the entire panel.

The same pine tree image was first and second-generation stamped onto the envelope front and a few snowflakes were stamped around the trees. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. To finish up the card I added three Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes to the card front.

The snowy scene on this card makes me want to curl up with a good book and a hot beverage! This card is suitable for male or female and would make a great winter birthday card, too!
