Inky Bee Stampers

The products I used for today’s card are a sneak peek of products that will be released on November 7 as Online Exclusives, which means that you won’t find these items in any catalog you can only find them in the online store under Online Exclusives! I used the Garden Meadow Bundle (stamps and dies) along with the gorgeous Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the adorable Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds embellishments! Each piece of the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper is like a work of art. I’m not exaggerating! This paper is breathtaking!

I kept the design of this card very simple in order to let the beautiful paper do all of the work. I used the window die from the Garden Meadow Dies to cut out a neutral print from the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper. I selected one of the meadow prints from the paper pack and adhered it to a Basic Black mat. The die cut window was then adhered over top using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This unit was then adhered to a card base in Highland Heather.

I used a scrap of the meadow print and cut it down to 2″ x 1″ and stamped the “hello” sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the sentiment label. The sentiment label was then matted to a piece of Basic Black cardstock and adhered to the lower left corner of the card using a combination of liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside panel, I adhered a strip of the Meandering Meadows paper to the right side of the inside panel. The panel was then matted to a piece of Basic Black cardstock then adhered to the inside of the card.

I added three of the swallows from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds pack to the card front (in the sky area of the print). Using stamps from the Garden Meadow Stamp Set, I stamped the ground image in Pecan Pie ink onto the lower corner of my envelope front, then I stamped the basket image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I used Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. Lastly, I adhered a coordinating piece of the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and used my paper snips to trim away the excess paper from the flap. I contemplated adding some ribbon or twine but decided the card was perfect as is.
