It is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I can’t wait to see what everyone has created for the Hop today! I hope you will take a minute to hop around and be inspired!
I created this card using the Autumn Leaves Bundle, the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Pick of the Patch Bundle. It is Fall after all, so pumpkins seem appropriate.

And…the theme challenge for today’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is Halloween/Pumpkins!

The Front Flap Fun Fold consists of two card bases. The larger card base measures 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at 4-1/4″. The small card base measures 8-1/2″ x 3″ and is scored at 4-1/4″.
I started by stamping all of my inside panels and the components that decorate the front of the card. I chose two sentiments from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set. The sentiment for the front of the finished card was stamped in Copper Clay ink and I used one of the sentiment dies from the Autumn Leaves Dies set to cut out the sentiment. The second sentiment from this stamp set was stamped onto the inside panel of the smaller card base. Using the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set, I also stamped a pumpkin onto the lower corner of this same inside panel. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the small card base.

For the inside panel on the larger card base, I stamped a sentiment from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set and stamped this in Copper Clay ink. I used the two-leaf image from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set and stamped these leaves onto the upper right and left corners of the panel in Crushed Curry ink. The veins of the leaves were stamped in Copper Clay ink. A pumpkin and stem from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set was stamped onto the lower corner of the panel. The panel was adhered to a Pumpkin Pie mat, then adhered to the inside of the larger card base.

When assembling this card, I found it easiest to adhere the matted designer series paper panels to the left and right sides of the larger card base. These designer series paper panels measure 4″ x 1″ and are matted to Pumpkin Pie cardstock. But before I adhered the card bases together; I decorated the front of the small card base first. I chose a pumpkin print from the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered this panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat, then adhered the panel to the front of the small card base.
To decorate the front of the card, I stamped two pumpkins from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set – one in Pumpkin Pie and one in Crushed Curry ink. The stems were stamped in Copper Clay ink. I then used the Pick of the Patch Punch to punch out the images. Using the Autumn Leaves Dies, I cut out one oak leaf from Crushed Curry cardstock. A small amount of Stampin’ Seal was applied towards the bottom of the small card base and I looped Linen Thread several times. The pumpkins, oak leaf and sentiment label were adhered to each other to create one unit and this was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals over top of the looped thread. I applied glue to the back of the small card base and adhered the small card base to the center of the larger card base – between the two matted panels.

The two leaf image from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set was stamped again onto the envelope front in Crushed Curry ink and the veins were stamped in Copper Clay ink. I adhered a coordinating piece of the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Several Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems were added to the card front to complete the card.

It would be fun to adhere a gift card on the inside of the front flap of this card…a nice little surprise for the recipient! I hope you enjoyed my card for the Hop today!
