Today’s quick and easy birthday card was created using the Lasting Joy Stamp Set and the lovely All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper (available on September 6). The beautiful metallic accents on the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper make this card!
I chose a Moody Mauve geometric print and a Moody Mauve and Pretty Peacock geometric print for the card front. Each panel of the paper was cut to 2″ x 5-1/4″ and the pieces were adhered to a mat in Pretty Peacock. I used a length of Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon and wrapped the ribbon where the two pieces of paper met in the middle, then secured the ends of the ribbon on the back of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. The panel was adhered to the front of a Moddy Mauve card base.
Using Versamark ink I stamped the “Birthday Wishes” sentiment onto a Pretty Peacock label. I also stamped a leaf image on either side of the sentiment using Versamark ink. Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder was sprinkled over these stamped images, and I used my Heat Tool to set the embossing powder. The sentiment label was adhered to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used an additional length of Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon to tie a bow and the bow was added to the left of the sentiment label and adhered using Mini Glue Dots.
On the inside panel I stamped an additional sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink. I used the two-step stamps from the Lasting Joy Stamp Set to stamp the multi-flower image in Moody Mauve, then the leaves in Pretty Peacock ink. The panel was adhered to a Pretty Peacock mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.
The same flower and leaf images were stamped onto the envelope front. I adhered a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several copper Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the card front.
