Inky Bee Stampers

The Stars at Night Bundle was used to create today’s card. This bundle will be available on September 6 in the new Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. This bundle is part of the O Holy Night Suite Collection. The Stars at Night Bundle includes the Stars at Night Stamp Set, Stars at Night Dies and the Stars at Night Hybrid Embossing Folder. If you are not familiar with hybrid embossing folders – they die cut and emboss at the same time! Fun!

I used the large 3-star die from the Stars at Night Dies and placed this die in the Stars at Night Hybrid Embossing Folder and die cut the lagest star from a scrap piece of white cardstock. I then used a Blending Brush to color this embossed star in Pool Party ink and concentrated the color on the center of the star. Next, I placed a 5-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ white panel in the embossing folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, making sure the large star on the embossing folder was centered on the panel. A Blending Brush was used to blend Pool Party ink across the embossed panel which helps to highlight all of the gorgeous, embossed areas of the panel! The panel was then adhered to the front of the card base.

The sentiment for the card front was stamped onto a a 4-1/4″ x 3/8″ label in Pool Party ink and was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment label was placed towards the bottom of the card. From a scrap piece of white cardstock, I stamped the two greenery stems in Pool Party ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Stampin’ Seal was applied to a small area over the large, embossed star on the panel and I used a folded piece of the White Iridescent Ribbon and adhered the ribbon over the embossed star on the panel. I then adhered the die cut large, ink blended star to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greenery stems were tucked in and adhered on either side of the large star.

For the inside panel, I second-generation stamped the large star towards the top of the panel then stamped the “Merry Christmas” sentiment over top of the star – all in Pool Party ink. The dotted star was stamped onto the lower corner of the panel and the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same dotted star was partially stamped once onto the envelope front and partially stamped three times across the envelope flap in Pool Party ink. Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels were added to the stars on the card front (7 in total) to finish up the card. The iridescent ribbon and rhinestones give this card just the right amount of sparkle!
