Inky Bee Stampers

This card was created using the Joy of Noel Bundle, Joy of Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and White Iridescent Ribbon – all products from the upcoming Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog which will be available on September 6! And how beautiful is this berry print paper from the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper pack?

I started off by adhering the white and Cherry Cobbler berry print to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base. Using my 2″ and 2-3/8″ Circle Punches, I first punched a 2″ circle from a scrap piece of Old Olive cardstock. The circle was set aside for a later project. I then centered my 2-3/8″ Circle Punch over the 2″ hole I just punched and punched again. This creates a circle “frame” which will be used to construct the wreath for the card.

Using the Joy of Noel Dies, I die cut seven pine boughs from Old Olive cardstock and approximately seven greenery stems from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. Using the circle frame I had created, I first started gluing down the pine boughs and made my way around the wreath. The greenery stems were then tucked slightly under the pine boughs around the wreath. The wreath was then adhered to the center of the card front using liquid glue.

The Noel sentiment was stamped onto a piece of scrap white cardstock, and I die cut the letters using the Joy of Noel Dies. I positioned a blank white sentiment label measuring 4-1/2″ x 1″ onto my grid paper and made sure to center the center of the sentiment label to the center of the grid paper. Each end of the sentiment label was held down to the grid paper using Post It Tape. Each of the Noel letters was then glued down to the sentiment label using the grid paper 1″ markings to assist in lining up the sentiment. Once all of the letters were glued to the sentiment label, I applied a double stack of Stampin’ Dimensionals to the label then adhered the label over the wreath and the center of the card.

For the inside panel I adhered a strip of coordinating designer series paper to the right side of the panel, leaving approximately a 1/4″ of the panel showing on the right side of the strip. An additional sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the berry image from the Joy of Noel Stamp Set was stamped onto the lower left corner of the panel in Cherry Cobbler ink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

A small bow from White Iridescent Ribbon was added to the top of the wreath on the card front. The berry image was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto the envelope front, and I adhered a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap.

Today’s card primarily focused on using die cuts from the Joy of Noel Bundle, but I will be featuring this Bundle again later in the week where I created a card using primarily stamping…so stay tuned! The images in the Joy of Noel Bundle and Joy of Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper are so lovely! I can see myself using these products over and over again!
