Inky Bee Stampers

This card was created using the Merriest Trees Bundle. The Merriest Trees Stamp Set and Merriest Trees Dies are adorable and make for quick and easy cards! Everything you would need to decorate your tree is included (garland, ornaments, stars)! The Merriest Trees Bundle will be available on September 6 from the new Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog.

I selected a geometric print from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper pack for my background. The panel was adhered to a mat in Granny Apple Green, then adhered to the front of a Real Red card base.

Next, I stamped the large tree from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock in Granny Apple Green ink. Using the detailed two-step image of the tree, I then stamped over the tree again using Old Olive ink. The coordinating die from the Merriest Trees Dies set was used to cut out the tree. Using the same dies set, I cut garland out from Real Red cardstock, a solid and open star and a tree base were die cut from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. If you don’t have Distressed Gold 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper in your crafting stash…you need to order some! This paper is perfect for Fall and holiday cards!

The open star was adhered to the solid star, then this was adhered to the top of the die cut tree. The tree base was adhered to the back of the die cut tree at the bottom. The gardland pieces were also adhered to the tree. The tree was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment “Love & Joy” was stamped onto a Granny Apple Green sentiment label in Old Olive ink. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to punch a banner end on the left side of the label. I also punched a banner end on the sentiment label mat, adhered the pieces together, then used a combination of glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label to the right side of the card front.

On the inside panel, I stamped an additional sentiment in Old Olive ink. I then stamped one of the gift images onto the lower left corner of the panel three times. The panel was adhered to a Granny Apple Green mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same gift image was stamped three times onto the lower corner of the envelope front, and I adhered a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. A small Real Red bow was added to the left of the sentiment label on the card front. To finish up the project, I added multiple large and small pearls to the tree.
