Inky Bee Stampers

The Timeless Charm Bundle was used to create today’s card along with paper from the 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack and the Nested Essentials Dies. This bright and cheerful card is sure to bring a smile to the recipient’s face!

I started off by adhering a polka dot print from the 2022-2024 Designer Series Paper pack to a mat in Sweet Sorbet. This was then adhered to a Thick Basic White card base. Rather than pulling a bunch of different colored cardstocks from my supplies, I instead die cut all of the pieces you see on the card front from Basic White cardstock. I then used Stampin’ Blends in Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow to color in the flower and greenery images.

Before arranging and adhering the flowers and greenery to the small hexagon shapes, I first used the dark shade of my Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blend to flick ink spots onto the hexagon for some added interest. The flowers and greenery were adhered to the ink splattered panel using liquid glue, with the exception of the single flower which was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The smaller hexagon was then adhered to the larger hexagon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside panel, I second-generation stamped the dot image onto the lower corner of the panel in Parakeet Party ink. One of the greenery images was stamped over top of the dots in Mossy Meadow ink. The panel was adhered to a Sweet Sorbet mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

To finish up the card I stamped the same dots and greenery onto the lower corner of the envelope front. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. A small white Baker’s Twine bow was added to the card front, just above the single flower image. I used the dark shade of my Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blend to color five rhinestones, and these were placed around the flowers on the card front.
