Inky Bee Stampers

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend! Today’s card was created using the Gorgeously Made Bundle and the Masterfully Made 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper! I just love the bright Berry Burst and Pretty Peacock on this card.

I started by stamping one of the greenery images from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set across the top and bottom edges of a Berry Burst card base in Berry Burst ink. I matted a 5-1/2″ x 3″ piece of the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper to a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock, then adhered this to the card front.

Using the Gorgeously Made Dies I cut out the large greenery image from Pretty Peacock cardstock. I cut the piece into four smaller pieces and adhered these to the card front using liquid glue with the stems meeting in the center of the card and the tops of the greenery pieces angled towards the top left.

The sentiment label was created from a piece of the designer series paper in Bubble Bath and the “hello” greeting was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink. I also created a stamped mat for the sentiment label in Berry Burst and partially stamped the greenery image in Berry Burst ink onto the mat. The right edge of both the sentiment label and its mat were die cut with the torn edge die. The left end of the sentiment label and mat were lined up together and I used my Very Best Trio Punch to punch a small rectangular opening through both pieces. I weaved two lengths of Linen Thread through the opening and tied a double knot. The sentiment label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I stamped one of the greenery images in Pretty Peacock ink onto the lower right and upper left corners of the panel. Using Smoky Slate ink, I second-generation stamped the “words” image over top of the greenery. The inside panel was adhered to a mat in Pretty Peacock and then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same greenery image and words image were stamped onto the envelope front. I adhered a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several Pretty Peacock Adhesive-Backed Sequins were added to the card front.
