Inky Bee Stampers

Christmas in July! Well…it is almost July and these new products will be available on July 6 so I’m going with it! I created this holiday card using the new One Horse Open Sleigh Suite of products which will be available to customers on July 6 as Online Exclusives (meaning these items can only be found in the Online Store)! You will definitely want to add this suite of products to your shopping cart…the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is truly gorgeous!

I started off by adding a piece of the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper to a Basic White mat, then adhered this to a card base in Pool Party (it coordinates with the designer series paper). I die cut one tree in Early Espresso and added this to the card front. The sleigh image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. The sleigh was then cut out using the coordinating die from the Horse & Sleigh Dies set.

Want to dress up the sleigh a little? There is an S shaped die in the set along with a die for the sleigh runners. I cut out these two images from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and adhered the pieces to the sleigh. I also used Black Pearlized Enamel Effects to dress up the sleigh harness by applying small pearls on the harness pieces (these are the black stamped images across the horse’s chest and back). The sleigh image was then adhered to the bottom portion of the card front.

A piece of Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon was added to the upper left of the card front. A sentiment was stamped onto the sentiment label, and I double matted the label using a piece of red print paper from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper and a piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. The label was then adhered over top of the folded ribbon.

For the inside panel, I stamped the pine tree image several times onto the lower left corner using Pool Party ink. An additional sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink and the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same pine tree image was partially stamped onto the envelope front and I added a red print piece of Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Lastly, I added one small snowflake from the Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment pack to the sentiment label.
