Stampin’ Up! Berry Harvest Thank You Card

Happy Friday! Today’s card was created using the Berry Harvest Stamp Set and a few items from the upcoming Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog including the Autumn Leaves Bundle and the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. Check out the copper shine on this paper, sentiment and leaves and these colors scream Fall!

I started off by adhering a piece of the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base. I chose a geometric pattern in Mossy Meadow with copper accents…just beautiful paper!

The Berry Harvest Stamp Set consists of one large background stamp. I began by stamping the Berry Harvest image onto a white panel measuring 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. I used Berry Burst and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. I used a Stampin’ Blend Color Lifter to lift highlights on the round sections of the berries and I used the dark shade of an Old Olive Stampin’ Blend to add some shadows to the leaves. The completed panel was then adhered to a mat in Blackberry Bliss. Before adhering the panel to the card front, I cut a length of Herringbone Ribbon and used the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend to color the ribbon. The ribbon was wrapped around the lower third of the colored and matted panel and secured on the back with Stampin’ Seal. The panel was then adhered to the card front.

I stamped the “I’m Thankful” sentiment from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set in Versamark ink onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, then sprinkled copper embossing powder over the sentiment and used my Heat Tool to set the embossing powder. I also stamped the two-leaf image in Old Olive ink onto a scrap piece of Old Olive cardstock. The veins of the leaf were stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with copper embossing powder. I used the coordinating dies from the Autumn Leaves Dies set to cut out the leaves. The leaves were adhered to the back of the sentiment label, then the sentiment label was adhered over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside panel, I masked off all but the bottom 1″ of the panel. I partially stamped the Berry Harvest image onto the 1″ section and colored the image as I did for the front of the card. The masking was removed, and the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same two-leaf image was stamped onto the lower portion of the envelope front. I used the light shade of an Old Olive Stampin’ Blend to color in the leaves then stamped the veins using Copper Clay ink. A piece of coordinating specialty designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and the excess paper was trimmed away from the flap. Several of the Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots were added to the card front to finish up the project.

I can almost smell Fall in the air! Well, not really…just wishful thinking. But it will be here in a few months. I can hardly wait!
