Happy Friday! Another week has flown by, and summer is in full swing! I thought today’s card was appropriate for a summer day!
Here is another sneak peek of a Sale-A-Bration item. I used the adorable Tree Lot Dies along with the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set to create this Father’s Day card. You can earn the Tree Lot Dies during Sale-A-Bration which begins on July 1, 2022 with an order of $100. The Tree Lot Dies set coordinates with the Trees for Sale Stamp Set which will be included in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.
I started with a panel of Shimmery White cardstock and used Tahitian Tide and Granny Apple Green inks to watercolor the background for the card scene. The Beauty of Friendship stamps were used to stamp two trees onto the background, as well as the inside of the card and envelope front. I die cut all of the pieces needed from the Tree Lot Dies set to complete the card front. Of course, you can choose what colors you use based on your available cardstock scraps! The Celebrating You Stamp Set was used for the sentiment.
A scrap piece of cardstock was adhered to the back of the trailer die cut over the windows so that I could glue the yellow round and rectangular windows in. I assembled the trees and began adhering the pieces to the panel. The scene was then adhered to an Evening Evergreen mat, then this unit was adhered to the card front.
I made this card into a Father’s Day card, but this would make a great masculine card or for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors!
