Today’s card was created using the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set, Dies and the fun Dandy Designs 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Let that someone special in your life know how much you appreciate them!
I started by adhering a piece of the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper in a Balmy Blue plaid pattern to the front of a Balmy Blue card base.
The milkshake components were stamped onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and include the milkshake glass in Mint Macaron ink, the ice cream top in Soft Sea Foam ink (our milkshake is mint flavored!), and a cherry and straw in Sweet Sorbet ink. The stamps for the straw and milk shake glass are two-step stamps so the solid images for each were second generation stamped and the detailed images were first generation stamped. Coordinating dies from the Share a Milkshake Dies set were used to cut out all of the stamped pieces and I used glue to assemble the milkshake.
From a Basic White cardstock panel, I used the fourth largest die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set to cut out a panel. The grid pattern from the Share a Milkshake Dies set was cut out using a scrap of Early Espresso cardstock. The grid was adhered to the die cut panel and positioned towards the top of the panel at an angle. The assembled milkshake was adhered to the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Hearts were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink towards the top of the panel. The panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment “Life is sweeter with you” was stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink onto white cardstock and I used my paper snips to fussy cut around the sentiment. The sentiment was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was placed under and slightly overlapping the white panel.
The inside panel was simply adorned with some hearts stamped in the lower corner and the panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.
More hearts were stamped onto the front of the envelope and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope front. A small knot bow was tied using Balmy Blue & White Variegated Ribbon and adhered to the stem of the milkshake glass using a Mini Glue Dot. Several Balmy Blue Iridescent Gems were adhered to the card front to finish off the card.
This is such a fun set to play with and this card required a minimum number of supplies to create.
