Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Best Wishes Card

I used the Petal Park Stamp Set, the Sentimental Park Stamp Set and the Sentimental Park Dies along with the new Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to create today’s card. The Petal Park Stamp Set and punch and the Sentimental Park Stamp Set and Dies set will be carrying over into the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog…good news! But, you can still receive the bundled savings of 10% up until May 1 on each of these sets! The Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper will be available on May 2 from the new catalog!

I chose a bold diagonal Blackberry Bliss stripe pattern from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack for my card front. I used the Countryside Corners Dies to die cut a white panel and stamped the large multi-leaf image onto the panel in Granny Apple Green ink. I used Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to color in the leaves. The dark shade of a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend was used to splatter ink onto the panel. I then wrapped Linen Thread around the panel several times.

I used the small solid and open flower dies from the Sentimental Park Dies set to cut multiple flowers in both Bubble Bath and Blackberry Bliss. For my focal flowers, I stacked a Blackberry Bliss outline flower onto three of the Bubble Bath solid image flowers. These flowers were adhered to the octagon panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The remaining “outline” flowers were adhered around the panel using liquid glue. The octagon panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the smallest die from the Countryside Corners Dies set to cut out a sentiment label and stamped the “Best Wishes” sentiment from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink. The sentiment label was adhered to the card front and I added a double Linen Thread bow over the wrapped thread.

On the inside panel I partially stamped the multi-leaf image onto the top and bottom of the panel, colored in the images using Stampin’ Blends then used a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend to ink splatter the panel. The panel was adhered to a Blackberry Bliss mat then this unit was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same partial leaf image was stamped onto the envelope flap and colored in. I also added ink splatter to the envelope front. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish off the envelope.

Lastly, multiple pink Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins were added to the card front.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Watercolor Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and it is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Be sure to hop around to all of the blogs in the Hop today for some great inspiration!

I created my card for today using the Petal Park Bundle, Sentimental Park Stamp Set and the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder plus a little bit of watercoloring!

We have a sketch challenge for today’s Hop. How did I do?

To start I second generation stamped the flower image from the Petal Park Stamp Set onto a Highland Heather panel using Gorgeous Grape ink. The Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder was used to dry emboss the panel and then the panel was adhered to the front of a card base in Garden Green.

Using clean water, I completely wet several pieces of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and dropped Gorgeous Grape ink onto one panel and Garden Green ink onto the other panel then used a Water Painter to spread the ink around on the paper surface. The color variations on the watercolor paper will provide an organic look to the flowers and leaves. The paper was allowed to fully dry before using the detailed flower and leaf stamps from the Petal Park Stamp Set to stamp onto the watercolored surfaces. The Petal Park Builder Punch was then used to punch out flowers and leaves. Below is what the watercolor paper looks like before stamping the detailed images and punching them out. It looks messy, I know, but it makes for some pretty flowers and leaves!

A sentiment from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set was stamped onto a sentiment label measuring 2-1/2″ x 1″ and the label was matted to a piece of Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer Paper. Two short lengths of Garden Green ribbon were adhered to the center of the card front, allowing the ribbon ends to hang down. The sentiment label was adhered over top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flower petals on the watercolored flowers were curled up on the edges to provide a little more dimension. I then arranged the flowers around the sentiment label and adhered them with small drops of glue to the card front. The leaves were then tucked under the flowers and adhered to the card.

The three-flower image and leaf stamps from the Petal Park Stamp Set were used to stamp flowers and leaves onto the inside panel. The panel was then adhered to a mat in Highland Heather and this unit was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same three-flower image and leaf were also stamped onto the envelope front and envelope flap. Glossy Dots in purple were added to the flower centers on the card front and several more were adhered directly to the card front.

I love the purple flowers and bright green of this card as it reminds me of wild violets surrounded by new spring grass…so cheerful!

Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Park Congratulations Card

Happy Friday! I created this card using the Sentimental Park Bundle (stamps and dies) and the pretty Regency Park 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. This card was created for a special friend who will be retiring in a few short months! Yay for being retired!

I started off by adhering a panel of the Regency Park Designer Series Paper in a bold flower print to a card base of Balmy Blue. I used a second piece of paper from the Regency Park DSP pack to create a banner on the card front – this paper is in coordinating Mango Melody.

Using the dies from the Sentimental Park Dies set, I cut out a number of small flowers – both solid images and outline images -in white, Balmy Blue and Mango Melody. I stacked some of the flowers and adhered the pieces together. Some of the smaller flowers stand by themselves.

The Sentimental Park Dies set has several sentiment labels that you can use. I cut out the large, ornate sentiment label in Basic White cardstock and layered a second sentiment label in white on top of the larger label. The cool thing about the large, ornate label is that the die cuts open slots on the right and left side so that the smaller sentiment label can be slipped into these slots. This creates a pretty layered look! The sentiment was stamped in Mango Melody ink onto the smaller label and the two labels were adhered together.

Before adhering the sentiment label to the card front, I adhered several of the flowers around the right and left sides of the ornate label. I then adhered the sentiment label to the card front, and over top of the banner, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Several of the remaining die cut flowers were tucked under and around the sentiment label.

I used a length of Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon and folded the ribbon in half, securing the pieces together with a Mini Glue Dot. I applied a second Mini Glue Dot to the back of the ribbon and tucked the ribbon under the sentiment label and allowed the ribbon ends to hang down. So pretty!

For the inside panel, I stamped an additional sentiment from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set in Mango Melody ink and used the two-step flower stamps from the same set to stamp flowers along the bottom of the panel. This panel was then adhered to a mat in Mango Melody and this unit was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same two-step flower stamps were used to stamp onto the lower left of the envelope front in Mango Melody ink. I added a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed away the excess paper from the flap. To finish off the card, I added several Adhesive-backed Milky Dots in blue to several of the flower centers on the card front.

You can purchase the Sentimental Park Bundle from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and if you make the purchase during Sale-a-bration you can earn a Level 1 free item from the Sale-a-bration catalog! That’s a win-win. The Sentimental Park Stamp Set contains a ton of images and sentiments. The sentiments in this stamp set alone will cover thank you cards, thinking of you cards, celebrations, new baby, birthdays, graduations and anniversaries! That’s a lot of coverage from just one stamp set! The Sentimental Park Dies include three different sentiment labels and a ton of flower dies and several stem and leaf dies! And if you purchase the bundle – stamps and dies together – you save 10% and earn a free Sale-A-Bration item! This is a great deal!

Wishing you all a fantastic day and an enjoyable weekend!
