I anxiously await delivery of my Paper Pumpkin Kit each month and I was especially looking forward to receiving the July kit. Waiting for your Paper Pumpkin kit is like waiting for Christmas morning. You know you’re going to get a really great gift, but you don’t know what’s inside! That’s what it’s like when Paper Pumpkin arrives!
My kit arrived…but, it had not been handled very nicely during shipping! I was so disappointed. The only thing salvageable in the kit were the stamps. All of the paper elements, cards and envelopes were badly creased, and the ink spot had been crushed and ink was everywhere! I phoned Stampin’ Up! Support and the representative said they would send me a new kit right away. They even shipped the kit Priority Mail, and I received the replacement kit within a few days. If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and your kit arrives damaged, you can rest easy in knowing that Stampin’ Up! will make things right!
I finally got to sit down and assemble the cards in the kit. I’m just in love with the sea images on these cards…they are so pretty! Once I had the cards assembled, I took a few minutes to write a personal message in each card and sealed the cards in their envelopes. The nine completed cards are on their way to a local hospital for chronically ill patients along with some other cards that I made. The messages on the cards are so uplifting and I hope it brings a smile to the recipient’s faces.

If you don’t subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, I highly recommend that you do. Everything you need to complete the kit project is included, along with instructions on how to complete the cards or project. And the contents change each month! Like I mentioned earlier, it’s like receiving a gift each month…you never know what you’re going to receive! Well, Stampin’ Up! gives us a peek of what will be included but actually putting your hands on the kit contents is awesome!
