Stampin’ Up! Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit

I don’t have a project sheet for you today, Instead I wanted to share my recently completed August Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit! Gorgeous, simple and easy!

The August kit – Sweet Sunflowers – made a total of 9 cards in three different designs. I can’t begin to describe just how beautiful these cards turned out. I don’t think my photos really do them justice. The kit materials are high quality, and you can choose to complete the kits per the instructions or change things up and put your own spin on the design. As I mentioned yesterday on my blog, Stampin’ Up! and my team, the Inkin’ Krew, will be celebrating World Card Making Day on October 1st! Everyone is invited!  Our team will be hosting a fun all-day event on Saturday, October 1st in honor of World Card Making Day. The event will feature card making presentations live on the event Facebook page as well as some fun giveaways! 

Stampin’ Up! will also be hosting an event online (see the details below) and we’re scheduling our event so that it runs before and after the Stampin’ Up! event!  Most of us will be using one of the three bundles from the Stampin’ Up! event for our projects so you will come away from the day with tons of ideas for those three bundles!

All are welcome to join us for this fun-filled day!  We’ll be setting up a Facebook page to host the event and will be sharing the link to the page in late September.  Keep an eye out on my blog for more details!

Stampin’ Up Jingle Jingle Jingle (all the way) Holiday Card

I now have the Jingle Bells song stuck in my head! The Jingle Jingle Jingle Stamp Set is adorable and has several large print stamps to make your Christmas cards festive and fun. I paired the stamps with paper from the Santa Express 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper which makes this card all the more fun!

I started off with a card base in Poppy Parade cardstock (which is a really awesome Christmas “red” by the way). Onto white cardstock I stamped the patterned “Jingle” stamp in Granny Apple Green ink then stamped the small jingle bell above the sentiment on the left in Daffodil Delight ink. This sentiment label was matted to a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock.

A second sentiment label was created using the sentiment “all the way” and stamped in Poppy Parade ink. This sentiment label was also matted to a piece of Granny Apple Green.

A piece of the Santa Express DSP was adhered to the card front and the sentiment labels were adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The “Jingle” sentiment was set at a jaunty angle…just to make things fun…and the second sentiment label was adhered underneath. A small bow was tied with silver Simply Elegant Trim and adhered to the top sentiment label using a Mini Glue Dot.

For the inside panel, I stamped several bells and a few stars in Daffodil Delight ink and did the same for the envelope front. The envelope flap was finished off with coordinating DSP.

I’m looking forward to playing some more with this stamp set to create some more fun holiday cards. Cards made with the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set would be great to give to kids…of all ages!!! You can find the Jingle Jingle Jingle Stamp Set at the Santa Express 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.

Stampin’ Up! Hippest Hippos and Celebrate With Tags Birthday Card

He’s back…our cute Hippest Hippo is back! This time on a Birthday card!

I needed to make a birthday card for a very special person in my life and I went to the Hippest Hippos and Hippo Dies and the Celebrate With Tags Bundle. The Hippest Hippos bundle is amazing all on its own but combining the Hippo images with the Celebrate With Tags bundle made it so much more amazing. Can I say that I’m having way too much FUN!

The recipient of this card loves blue so the color pallet consists of Pacific Point, Tahitian Tide, Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue and Pool Party. The card sits on a Pacific Point card base and I used paper from the 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to die cut the tag that adorns the front of the card as well as the stripe running horizontally across the card. Cardstock scraps were used to stamp and die cut the remainder of the images on the card.

This card came together quickly! What do you think? Cute or what? Just a reminder that the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set and the coordinating Hippo Dies are only available during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order. But don’t delay! I did not create a card for today…but I did make some cards to share with you…Paper Pumpkin kit cards! Read on for the details!

I recently received my April Paper Pumpkin kit. Here is a look at the contents of the April Paper Pumpkin kit that I received.

April’s kit contained everything I needed to make three each of three different designed cards with card bases, coordinating envelopes, die cut images, a Stampin’ Spot (ink), a stamp set, and Stampin’ Dimensionals. The first kit you receive from Paper Pumpkin will contain a stamp block and you’ll save this block to use on future kits. You have the choice of completing the cards as per the instructions, or you can get creative and change the card design or project up a little. the choice is yours.

Following the instructions in the April Paper Pumpkin kit, I was able to complete all nine cards in under an hour. April’s kit is “Change is Beautiful” and the cards would be great for anyone going through change – a student graduating from high school or college, or maybe for someone starting a new job. The images are colorful and beautiful, and I now have nine cards ready to send out when needed.

If you’re feeling like I am, 2021 has zipped by in a FLASH! I mean, really, it feels like I blinked and we are now in the last week of December. Maybe it’s not a bad thing to be starting a new year – anyone else ready to put 2021 to rest? I’m personally looking forward to 2022. Each new year holds lots of promise and the one thing I’m most looking forward to is connecting with new friends and sharing my love of creating! Happy New Year to one and all! What are you most excited about in 2022?

New Catalogs coming on January 4, 2022

Is anyone else as excited as me for the upcoming release of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Catalog? Both of these catalogs are slated to be released on January 4, 2022 and I can’t wait! I’ll be posting the digital copies of the new catalogs on my site as soon as they release…so be sure to check back next week to view the catalogs! I’ve had a chance to review both, and I can tell you that there are some really great items included! Warning – you won’t be able to decide what to order first!
