Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Double Z Fold Hello Card

Say hello with this pretty Double Z Fold card using the Irresistible Blooms Bundle and the gorgeous Hello Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper! These items will be available tomorrow, March 1 as Online Exclusives!

I started with rear and front card bases in Petal Pink. To the rear card base I adhered Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper in a Petal Pink pattern to each panel. I chose a paper pattern in Pretty Peacock for the panels on the front card base.

Using the flowered paper from the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack I cut out several flowers using the coordinating dies from the Irresistible Blooms Dies. Yes, the dies coordinate to cut out images from the paper! I also cut out several sets of leaves using coordinating dies and several other leaves in white cardstock.

A large and small flower were arranged on the left panel of the front card base and I arranged the leaves around the flowers. The smallest flower was popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “hello” sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock in Petal Pink ink and I fussy cut the sentiment out. The sentiment was adhered to the left panel of the front card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was placed in the lower right corner.

A small die cut flower and leaves were adhered to the middle panel of the front card base. I stamped a partial image onto a white panel in Petal Pink ink add adhered this to the right panel of the front card base.

The right and left panels of the front card base were then adhered to the right and left panels of the rear card base (refer to the pdf tutorial for complete instructions).

Several Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots in pink were adhered to the card front and a double bow in white Baker’s Twine was added just below the small flower using a Mini Glue Dot.

The same small flower image was stamped onto the envelope front using Petal Pink ink and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and the excess paper was trimmed away from the flap.

How lovely is the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper and the Irresistible Blooms flowers? You can download, save and print complete instructions for this card by clicking on the image below.

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Friendship Card

Remember me talking about Online Exclusive products that are coming on March 1? I used some of the new products to create today’s card! This card was created using the Irresistible Blooms Bundle, Hello Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the fun Loose Frosted Dots! You can read more about the Online Exclusives further down on this post.

First, let me just say that the paper in the Hello Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack is stunning! Not a word I use often! Every sheet of this paper is gorgeous! And dies from the Irresistible Blooms Dies set cut out flowers and leaves from the paper…perfect! One more thing about this paper…two of the colors listed on the DSP pack are retired – Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. Standy by…I think these colors may be coming back!

I first chose a panel of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper in what I think is Pretty Peacock. I centered the round ornate die from the Irresistible Blooms Dies set onto the upper two thirds of the DSP panel and die cut the circle. The DSP panel was adhered to a mat in Basic White cardstock, then this unit was adhered to the card front.

Using the flower stamps from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set, I stamped two large and one medium sized flower in Petal Pink ink. I then used the dark shade of a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and darkened the centers of the stamped flowers. I used the light shade of the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to flick some yellow outward onto the petals for some added color. I also stamped several sets of leaves in Soft Sea Foam ink then used the coordinating dies from the bundle to cut out the images.

The two largest flowers were adhered to the lower portion of the circle on the card front using liquid glue. I then adhered the medium-sized flower between the two larger flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The die cut leaves were tucked slightly under the flowers around the card front. I also die cut several leaves from the designer series paper (the cutout from the circle die cut was perfect for this use) and I tucked these leaves around the flowers as well.

I stamped a sentiment onto the sentiment label using Petal Pink ink and cut banner ends on each side of the label. The label was adhered to the card front and positioned towards the top of the die cut circle. A small bow was tied using Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhered to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. I adhered multiple Loose Frosted Dots to the card front using small drops of glue.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the medium-sized flower in Petal Pink ink and colored it using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the flower a second time onto a Post It Note and fussy cut around the image. I placed the Post It Note mask onto the stamped flower on the inside panel then stamped leaves on either side of the flower image using Soft Sea Foam ink. This stamping and masking was repeated on the envelope front.

To finish up the card I adhered a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and cut away the excess paper from the flap.

You will be seeing more of this bundle and designer series paper for sure!

You can download, save and print a pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Wishing you all a great week! Hope you get to do something crafty!
