Happy Thursday! It’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop and I’m looking forward to seeing what my team members have created! This week we have a sketch challenge. I used the Christmas Lights Bundle, Brightest Glow Stamp Set and Wintry 3D Embossing Folders for my card today. Here’s the sketch challenge.

I selected Soft Sea Foam for the card base. I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies to die cut a Basic White panel, then embossed the panel in the snowflake pattern from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders. This panel was then adhered to the card front. Using the outline and detailed Christmas Tree dies, I die cut the tree in Mint Macaron cardstock.
To add a little extra something to the Christmas Tree, I wove some silver Simply Elegant Trim into the tree, using the die cut holes in the areas that look like strings of lights. The trim ends were secured to the back of the card using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal.

Several small stars were die cut from silver foil from the Silver Foil 12″ x 12″ Specialty Pack and the stars were used to decorate the tree along with several Festive Pearls. The Christmas Tree was adhered over the embossed white panel on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A greeting was stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Mint Macaron ink and die cut using the smallest die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies set. The sentiment label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a small amount of glue and slightly overlaps the white embossed panel.

An additional sentiment was stamped onto the inside panel, and I used the small snowflake from the Christmas Lights Stamp Set to stamp snowflakes along the bottom and side of the panel in Soft Sea Foam ink. The panel was matted to a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock and adhered to the inside of the card. The envelope front and envelope flap were finished off by stamping the small snowflake image in Soft Sea Foam ink.

The card was finished off with a double bow tied in silver Simply Elegant Trim and adhered to the left of the sentiment label. I love the combination of the Soft Sea Foam, white and Mint Macaron colors on this card – it gives it a soft, dreamy look.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! If you’d like to recreate this card all of the products used are listed further down the page.
