Stampin’ Up! Let’s Go Shopping All Occasion Card

This sweet little card was created using the Let’s Go Shopping Bundle and the Les Shoppes 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I had a blast putting this card together!

If you follow my blog, you have heard me talk about one of our favorite get-away-spots…Cape May, New Jersey. Cape May is a little seaside town filled to the brim with Victorian homes and stores! The Let’s Go Shopping Bundle reminds me so much of Cape May and so, of course, I had to color the little store using Cape May-like colors! The Victorian structures in Cape May are really this bright and bold! And, yes, there are pink houses and stores!

For my card for today, I started with a Balmy Blue card base and added a cobblestone pattern paper from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper pack to a mat in Sweet Sorbet. I then added the panels to the card front. I then began stamping, coloring, and die cutting all of the components for the storefront. You can access the pdf tutorial for this card below which goes into greater detail on all of the colors I used.

The storefront was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals as was the potted plant. The lamp was adhered to the card front using liquid glue. I added a Flirty Flamingo sentiment label to the top of the card front, stamping the sentiment to the right, and adding black Classic Matte Dots to the left of the sentiment label. Here is a close-up view…

The inside panel was stamped with an easel sign and potted plant. The panel was adhered to a Sweet Sorbet mat then this unit was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same potted plant was stamped onto the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures Thank You Card

I used the Earthen Textures Bundle and Earthen Elegance 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to create today’s card. Do you love rich, Fall colors? If so, the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper is for you! On this card I paired Pretty Peacock with Copper Clay and added a bit of Distressed Gold…so pretty together!

I chose a Pretty Peacock patterned paper from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper to adhere to the front of a Copper Clay card base. I die cut two large leaves in Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and two large leaves in Copper Clay using the Earthen Textures Dies. One additional leaf was cut from a multi-colored pattern from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper. I arranged these large leaves onto the card front, fanning them out to the left and right. The multi-colored large leaf was added to the center. Two smaller leaves cut from a Pretty Peacock pattern were tucked in around the center leaf.

I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock then used the smallest die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set to cut out. A piece of Natural Wavy trim was adhered across the bottom of the card front using Mini Glue Dots and the sentiment label was adhered over top of the trim using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel, I second-generation stamped the multi leaf image in Pretty Peacock ink then first generation stamped the “Thank you” sentiment over top. The panel was adhered to a piece of the Pretty Peacock print designer series paper then this unit was adhered to the inside of the card.

The same multi leaf image was stamped onto the envelope front and I added a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap.

Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty Friendship Card

I hope all of the moms out there enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day! I had a nice day with my family and hubby cooked ribs on the grill…Yum!

I used the Everlasting Beauty Stamp Set to create this pretty and easy card for today! Watercolor Pencils were used to color in the image, and I did a little masking and ink blending to create a frame around the flower.

A mask was created using the largest square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set. The mask was adhered to a white panel and I stamped the flower image using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The mask was temporarily removed, and I used Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape watercolor pencils to color in the image…no water was used!

The mask was reapplied to the stamped and colored panel, and I used a blending brush to lightly blend Granny Apple Green ink around the flower to create a sort of frame. The mask was removed and saved for a future project. The colored panel was adhered to a mat in Granny Apple Green then adhered to the front of a Gorgeous Grape card base.

A sentiment from the Everlasting Beauty Stamp Set was stamped onto a sentiment label in Tuxedo Black Memento ink then the label was matted to a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The sentiment label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A double Linen Thread bow was added to the top of the sentiment label.

An additional sentiment was stamped on the inside panel as well as a flower on the lower left of the panel. The same watercolor pencils were used to color in the image. The panel was adhered to a Granny Apple Green mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

Lastly, I stamped a flower image onto the envelope front and envelope flap and used the same colors of watercolor pencils to color in the images. Brushed Brass Butterflies were added to the card front to finish off the card.

I hope you give this easy card a try! You can download, save and print a pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Stampin’ Up! Bird’s Eye View Graduation Card

How about this for cute, cute, CUTE! Oh, my goodness but the little owls in the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set are just too much…and the glasses are perfect! In addition to using the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set to create today’s card I also grabbed some sentiments from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set and paper from the 2023-2025 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack. I’m loving the bold stripe pattern on this paper!

I started off by matting a Boho Blue striped piece of designer series paper to a black mat, then adhering this to a card base in Boho Blue. Onto white cardstock I stamped the book image from the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set, then stamped the owl standing on top of the books and I stamped the glasses onto the owl. I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color in the images and then used the largest square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set to cut out the image. I used my paper trimmer to cut an additional square from Basic Black cardstock and adhered the square onto the upper two-thirds of the card front at an angle. The stamped and die cut square was added on top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A “Congratulations” sentiment was stamped onto Basic White cardstock and I used the largest label die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set to cut out. The sentiment label was adhered to the lower third of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

An additional sentiment was stamped onto the inside panel along with the book image which was colored in with Stampin’ Blends. The panel was adhered to a black mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

A smaller owl image from the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set was stamped onto the envelope front and colored in with Gray Granite and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. A coordinating piece of the Boho Blue striped paper was added to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish off the envelope. Three 2023-2025 In Color Dots were added across the top of the sentiment label on the card front.

When I saw the image of the stacked books in the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set I knew I wanted to make this into a graduation card! A little searching through my other stamp sets produced the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set which contained perfect sentiments for the card!

Stampin’ Up! Pretty in Pink Bold Bouquet Mother’s Day Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and that means it is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects that my team members have created for the Hop this week…I know their projects will be beautiful as always! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog…welcome and thanks for stopping by!

My card today was created using the Bold Bouquet Bundle and the Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I also used two different stamp sets for the sentiments – The Best Family Ever Stamp Set and the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set.

We have a sketch challenge for today’s hop. Here is the sketch.

I used my new two favorite pinks for this Mother’s Day card – Berry Burst and Bubble Bath. A panel in Basic White measuring 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ was embossed using the cross-hatch embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders set. This panel was then adhered to the card front and centered from top to bottom and left to right. A smaller panel using the Bubble Bath and White striped paper from the Delightfully Electic Designer Series Paper was adhered to a mat in Berry Burst. I wrapped a length of Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon around the left side of this panel and then the panel was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The panel was offset to the right of the card front to follow our sketch challenge.

I stamped the large flower image from the Bold Bouquet Stamp Set several times onto Basic White cardstock. I first inked up the flower stamp in Bubble Bath ink and then used a sponge dauber to dab Berry Burst ink around the perimeter of the flower stamp. I used a separate sponge dauber to lightly blend in some Crushed Curry ink on each of the flowers just to give a different pop of color. A Berry Burst Stampin’ Blend was used to dot in the flower stamens. I also stamped four leaf sprigs in Lost Lagoon ink onto white cardstock and I used the coordinating dies from the Bold Bouquet Dies set to cut out these images. The images were arranged onto the center left of the card front and adhered down with liquid glue.

The “Mom” sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock in Berry Burst ink and I used the second to smallest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment was adhered to the center of the flower arrangement using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon bow to the lower left of the arranged flowers. A Berry Burst Stampin’ Blend was used to color in multiple Rhinestone Basic Jeweles and these were added around the card front.

For the inside panel I stamped the sentiment “Life is Sweeter with You” in Berry Burst ink. This sentiment came from the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set. I also stamped the large flower image from the Bold Bouquet Stamp Set onto the lower left of the panel – inking the stamp in Bubble Bath and then using a sponge dauber to add some Berry Burst and Crushed Curry ink around the perimeter. I also stamped the smallest leaf sprig in Lost Lagoon aound the flower. The panel was adhered to a Bubble Bath mat and then adhered to the inside of the card.

For the envelope I repeated stamping of the large flower image and leaf sprigs onto the envelope front. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope flap, and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish up the envelope.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you enjoyed my card for today’s Hop! You can download, save and print a pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Stampin’ Up! Hey Chuck Birthday Card

I love making pretty, layered cards on a regular basis but every once in a while, you need to create a card that will make you and others smile! When I saw the Hey Chuck Bundle in the catalog I knew I had to have the set! This particular card is being dropped in the mail to a dear friend of mine. I hope it makes her laugh out loud!

I started off by cutting two Basic White panels and two mats in Real Red cardstock. On one of the white panels I blended Balmy Blue ink in for the sky and I used Pumpkin Pie ink to create what will be the glow of the sun. I stamped a number of images onto white cardstock including one of the chickens, a birthday cake and a fence. A variety of Stampin’ Blend markers were used to color in the images, and I used the coordinating dies from the Hey Chuck Dies set to cut the images out.

The sun image was cut from Lemon Lolly cardstock and I blended Pumpkin Pie ink over the sun’s rays. A circle was cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Dies and I cut the circle in half (not quite half) using my paper trimmer. All of the components were arranged onto the ink blended panel and when I was satisfied with the placement, adhered the images to the panel. The chicken and sentiment label were adhered to the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The panel was then adhered to one of the Real Red mats and then adhered to the card front.

An additional sentiment was stamped on the second white panel along with one of the chicken images. the chicken was colored in using Lemon Lolly and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. The panel was adhered to a Real Red mat and then adhered to the inside of the card.

One of the chickens was partially stamped onto the envelope front and I stamped the birthday cake image onto the envelope flap. Both images were colored in with Stampin’ Blends. Several Lemon Lolly Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems were added to the card front to finish off the card.

Are you still smiling? Me too! You can download, save and print a copy of the pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing Easel Father’s Day Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

It’s time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop! The theme this month is “For the Boys/Men” and we can interpret this any way that we’d like. I know you will see a lot of fun creations from my team members in the Hop today! Let’s go!

I used the Gone Fishing Bundle and the Let’s Go Fishing 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to create my card for today.

I went with an easel card fold for my card. I started by stamping a fishing bobber and lure onto white cardstock using Pebbled Path ink. The fill was stamped onto the bobber using Real Red ink and I colored the fishing lure feather using Wild Wheat and Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends. The coordinating dies from the Gone Fishing Dies set were used to cut out the images. I also die cut two fish from the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper, along with an additional fish in white cardstock. One of the Designer Series Paper fish was adhered to the plain white cut out…this fish will be used for the “stop” to hold up the easel portion of the card.

The 2″ Circle Punch was used to cut out a circle in Wild Wheat cardstock and I stamped the “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment onto the circle using Mossy Meadow ink. I used a Blending Brush to lightly blend Mossy Meadow ink around the edges of the circle. I also blended Mossy Meadow around the edges of a plaid print from the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper pack. The Designer Series Paper panel was then adhered to a mat in Wild Wheat. This unit was then adhered to the bottom portion of the card front between the bottom edge and the 2-1/8″ score line.

The sentiment label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added one of the die cut fish towards the bottom of the label. I used several glue dots to adhere a short piece of gray Baker’s Twine vertically to the left side of the card front. The bobber was adhered at the top of the twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the lure was adhered at the bottom of the twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside panel, I adhered a 1-1/2″ strip across the bottom of the panel using the fish pattern from the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper pack. I lightly blended Mossy Meadow ink across the top of the panel then third-generation stamped several fish across the upper part of the panel. The panel was adhered to the inside of the card. The die cut fish was adhered to the designer series paper strip at the bottom of this panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I lightly blended Mossy Meadow ink across the bottom front of the envelope and third-generation stamped several more fish. I added a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed away the excess paper from the flap. Several Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the card front to finish up the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you enjoyed my card. How fun is this bundle and paper? You can download, save and print a pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Let’s get back to the hop! You can click on the previous button to visit Terry Lynn’s blog, or the next button to visit Amy’s blog. Or, you can click on any name in the list below to jump to that person’s blog. Enjoy all of the eye candy in today’s hop!

Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral Friendship Card

The images in the Textured Floral Bundle go beautifully with the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper…just coordinate your inks with the paper to create this pretty and simple card!

I started off by adhering one of the floral prints from the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper to a card base in Pretty Peacock. Onto Basic White cardstock I stamped a large and small leaf cluster in Lost Lagoon ink, a large flower in Calypso Coral ink, and a small flower in Crushed Curry ink. The flower centers were stamped in Copper Clay ink. I used the coordinating dies from the Textured Floral Dies set to cut out the images. I also die cut a leaf sprig from Pretty Peacock cardstock.

I arranged the leaves and flowers onto the card front and when I was happy with the placement, adhered the pieces down using liquid glue. The sentiment was stamped onto a white sentiment label using Lost Lagoon ink and I cut a banner end on the right side of the label before adhering it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A small knot bow was tied using the Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon and adhered just under the flowers using a Mini Glue Dot.

The small flower image was stamped in Crushed Curry on the inside panel and the flower center was stamped in Copper Clay ink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same small flower was stamped onto the envelope front and envelope flap. I added several Iridescent Pastel Gems in Calypso Coral to the card front to finish off the card. This pretty little card worked up quickly and I’m so pleased with the results! You’ll find the products used to create this card in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches Pretty Get Well Card

I was looking through the papers from the Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper Pack and came across this pretty flower print in the pack and had to design a card around this paper…so pretty!

I started off with a white panel and adhered a piece of the designer series paper to the bottom of the panel. I then adhered a strip of Garden Green cardstock across the seam between the white panel and designer series paper. I stamped and die cut the multi-flower image from the Seasonal Branches Stamp Set in Bubble Bath ink. The centers of the flowers were colored with the dark shade of a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend to coordinate with the designer series paper.

I also die cut multiple leaves from Garden Green cardstock and a large branch in Pecan Pie cardstock. The sentiment label was stamped in Garden Green ink and I used the 2″ Circle Punch to cut out the sentiment label.

A blending brush was used to lightly blend Balmy Blue ink onto the upper white portion of the panel. The panel was then adhered to the card front. The branch was adhered to the upper portion of the card (over the ink blended area) and the flowers were adhered over top of the branch using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The small leaves were tucked in around the flowers. The sentiment label was adhered onto the lower right of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added a Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon bow to the left side of the label.

Did you notice the ribbon in the photo above? There is silver stitching down the edges of the ribbon! This ribbon comes in Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Azure Afternoon. I can tell I’ll be using these a lot!

On the inside panel I stamped the single flower multiple times in Bubble Bath ink. The centers were colored with a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend. Leaves in Garden Green were added around the flowers. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

A single flower and several leaves were stamped onto the lower corner of the envelope front and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope flap. Several pink Tinsel Gems were added to the card front to finish up the card. The Tinsel Gems (four-pack or three-pack) are beautiful and have a little extra sparkle!

I have highlighted the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, Sheer Ribbon and Tinsel Gems…these will be some of my new “go-to’s”, but the Seasonal Branches Bundle is equally awesome and I can’t wait to create more cards with this set.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies All Occasion Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and that means it is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects that my team members have created for the Hop this week…I know their projects will be beautiful as always! If you are hopping over from Tara’s blog…welcome and thanks for stopping by!

I couldn’t help myself! I used the beautiful Cheerful Daisies Bundle, Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder to create today’s card. The Cheerful Daisies Bundle is so versatile…I can’t seem to stay away from this Suite of products!

We have a color challenge for the Hop today. I used all five colors on my card.

I started off with a standard A2 card base in Wild Wheat and added a panel of Moody Mauve paper from the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper pack to the card front. I used the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a panel in Boho Blue measuring 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″.

I used the Cheerful Daisies Dies to die cut the large 3-flower image from Wild Wheat cardstock. I also die cut the detailed petal images – also in Wild Wheat. The flower centers were die cut from Copper Clay. The largest flower center was first stamped in Copper Clay ink before die cutting. The two smaller flower centers were dotted with a Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend to give them a little dimension. I first adhered the flower centers to each of the three flowers, then adhered the detailed die cut petals to each flower. This unit was then adhered to the Boho Blue embossed panel.

Before adhering the embossed panel and flowers to the card front, I used a small amount of Stampin’ Seal on the back of the embossed panel and wrapped Linen Thread around the panel three times, securing the ends to the back of the panel. The embossed flower panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tucked in three of the leaf sprigs in Copper Clay and Pebbled Path around the flowers. A double Linen Thread bow was tied to the wrapped thread. This is an all-occasion card…so no sentiments adorn the card.

For the inside panel I simply stamped the half daisy in Wild Wheat and added a Copper Clay flower center. The panel was adhered to a mat in Moody Mauve then adhered to the inside of t he card.

The same half daisy was stamped onto the envelope front and I added a piece of the Moody Mauve paper from the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper pack to the envelope flap.

This completes the card! You can download, save and print a copy of the pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Let’s get back to the Hop! If you’re joining the hop from my blog, be sure to use the navigation links below to see more creativity and inspiration!
