Stampin’ Up! Silly Goose Thank You Card

I used the Silly Goose Stamp Set, Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Layering Circles Dies to create today’s card. I can’t help but smile when seeing the cute images from the Silly Goose Stamp Set!

I will be focusing this week on retiring items from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog! It’s sad to say good-bye to the retiring items…but we have new products coming soon! Update – The Silly Goose Stamp Set is being offered in the new catalog, but in the photopolymer version only. The Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and the Layering Circles Dies will be retiring. As of the writing of this post, all of these items are available in my online store while supplies last…so order them soon if you want them! I’m not sure how I’m going to survive without the Layering Circles Dies but I’m sure Stampin’ Up! will come out with something equally as awesome!

I adhered a piece of Balmy Blue Country Gingham Designer Series Paper to my Mint Macaron card base (Mint Macaron is also retiring). I cut a banner end from a 5″ x 2″ piece of Mint Macaron Country Gingham Designer Series Paper, and adhered the banner to the card front as well.

A small amount of Stampin’ Seal was applied to the middle of the card front. I looped Linen Thread around three of my fingers four times, fanned out the loops then adhered one end of the loops to the card front.

The image of the goose holding the “Thanks” banner was stamped onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. I used the second to largest scalloped die from the Layering Circles Dies to cut out the image, then adhered the image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The image of the goose and frog was stamped onto the inside panel and colored in using Stampin’ Blends. The inside panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same goose and frog image was stamped onto the lower corner of the envelope front and also colored in with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, I adhered a piece of coordinating Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap then trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish off the envelope. Several Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the card front and this completes this fun thank you card! Such happy images! You can read more about retiring items below.
