Send some cheerful tulips in a pretty thank you card! I used the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set, Tulips Dies, Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Deckled Rectangles Dies to create today’s card. Let’s take a look…
I started with a print from the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper containing the colors of Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party and Soft Succulent. I adhered a panel of this paper to the front of a card base in Evening Evergreen.
Using the Tulip Dies, I cut all of the pieces needed to assemble three tulips. The photo below shows the dies used. Note that all tulip pieces were die cut from Basic White cardstock, not Soft Succulent. The two leaf images were stamped onto Soft Succulent twice then die cut. I used the die for the long, slender stem and die cut the stem three times from Evening Evergreen cardstock (not shown in photo below).

Using sponge daubers, I blended Calypso Coral ink over the white die cut tulip pieces for a large tulip and a bud. The remaining pieces for the other large tulip were blended in Daffodil Delight ink. I then assembled the tulips using small drops of liquid glue.

A rectangle was cut from Basic White cardstock using the third to largest die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set. On this rectangle, I first arranged two of the leaves, then the stems onto the rectangle using glue. The tulip flower heads were adhered to the tops of the stems using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the 2″ Circle Punch to punch out a sentiment label from Basic White cardstock. The round “thank you” sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set was stamped onto the circle using Soft Succulent ink. The sentiment label was adhered to the bottom of the card front, covering where the stems and leaves meet. I tied a knot bow using a small length of Natural Finish Ribbon and adhered the bow to the card front using several Mini Glue Dots – placing it just above the sentiment label.
I adhered a 3/4″ strip of the designer series paper to the inside panel then adhered this panel to the inside of the card.

I adhered a different patterned paper from the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper pack to the envelope flap – it still contains the same colors – and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were adhered to the card front to finish off the card.
Do you love these pretty tulips and the pretty Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen cardstock? These items may be retiring very soon so be sure to stock up!
