Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Double Z Fold Valentine’s Day Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

It’s time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop! The theme this month is “Love” and we can interpret this any way that we’d like. I know you will see a lot of gorgeous creations from my team members in the Hop today! Let’s go!

What says LOVE more than a Valentine’s Day card? I used the Country Bouquet Bundle (stamps and punch) and Country Floral Lane 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to create this fun Double Z Fold card for today.

The Double Z Fold consists of two card bases – I’ll call these the rear card base and the front card base. The rear card base was cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock to 11″ x 4-1/4″ and scored at 8-1/4″ and 5-1/2″. Using a floral heart patterned paper from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper pack, I cut three panels and adhered these to the rear card base.

The front card base was cut from Petal Pink cardstock to 10-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ and scored at 7-1/2″ and 4-1/2″. Panels were cut from a small heart pattern from the Country Floral Lane paper and matted to white cardstock and adhered to the left and center panels of the front card base.

The left panel of the front card base was decorated with a die cut square stamped with the floral heart from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set in Sweet Sorbet and Mossy Meadow inks. A sentiment label was created using the small and large banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and this sentiment label was adhered over the stamped heart.

The center panel of the front card base was decorated with two punched hearts in Petal Pink and two punched leaves in Mossy Meadow. A third panel was used to stamp an inside sentiment and this panel was matted to a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and adhered to the right panel of the front card base.

Once each of the card bases were decorated, the two card bases were adhered to each other using liquid glue.

A single heart pearl was adhered to the card front. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several solid, small hearts were stamped onto the envelope front using Sweet Sorbet ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today as much as I enjoyed creating it! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! You can find complete instructions for this card on the linked pdf tutorial, including all cutting measurements, by clicking on the image below.
