Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Thank You Card

The Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set and Dies were used to create today’s card along with the Fine Shimmer 12″ x 12″ Paper and the Favored Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. These items are open for customer orders beginning January 5 and the Favored Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper can be earned for free during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying order!

I started off with a panel of the designer series paper in a Petal Pink pattern and stamped the sentiment directly onto this panel in the lower right corner. The panel was then adhered to the card front. I adhered a piece of the gold Fine Shimmer Paper to a band of Calypso Coral cardstock and adhered the band to the card front.

The large flower and leaf image from the Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set was stamped in Memento ink onto a piece of white cardstock and colored in using Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. The image was then adhered to the card front across the gold and Calypso Coral band using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Two die cut open leaves in Mossy Meadow were tucked under the large flower image. I added a double Linen Thread bow and adhered the bow between the two flowers. Several Adhesive-backed Mikly Dots were also added to the card front.

On the inside panel I stamped the smaller flower image from the Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set and colored the image in using Stampin’ Blends. The panel was adhered to a mat in Calypso Coral and this unit was adhered to the inside of the card.

On the envelope front, I stamped the same small flower image and colored in the image. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope flap, and I trimmed around the flap to finish off the envelope.

I love the detailed images from this stamp set and all of the intricate shading that the stamped image provides! The papers in the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper pack are equally beautiful! To download, save or print a pdf tutorial for this card project, click on the link below.

Craft & Chats will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month and are FREE -there is no fee associated with Craft & Chats.
The Craft & Chat session will last around 45 minutes.
Bring your current projects that you’re working on and plan to have fun and meet new friends!
