Stampin’ Up! In the Country Thank You Card

For today’s card I used the In The Country Stamp Set and the flower vine and sentiment from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set. The In The Country Stamp Set is free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration, which begins on January 5! The Dainty Delight Stamp Set is available in the upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and also available on January 5.

There are no ribbons or embellishments on this card. This pretty image easily stands on its own!

I cut down a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper to 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. The image from the In The Country Stamp Set was stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto the watercolor panel. I used a variety of inks to watercolor the image including Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Gorgeous Grape, Mossy Meadow, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Tahitian Tide. After the paper was dry I came back in with a black Stampin’ Write marker to darken some edges on the arch, stairway and door.

The watercolor panel was matted onto a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock then adhered directly to the Very Vanilla card base.

I chose a sentiment from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and stamped this on the inside panel in Mossy Meadow ink. I also chose a flowering vine image from the same stamp set and also stamped this image in Mossy Meadow and used Highland Heather and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends to color in the image.

The same flowering vine was stamped onto the envelope front and envelope flap and colored in using Stampin’ Blends.

With a Double Share you’ll receive 190 sheets of DSP and specialty paper!  The Double Share paper sheets will be cut into 6×12 pieces so that you’ll be able to get 3 full A2 size card fronts from each sheet (except 6″ x 6″ papers – you’ll get double sheets of those.  These are the By the Bay, Country Gingham, Fancy Flora and Regency Park DSPs)
