Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thank You Card

Happy Monday!

I used the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set and the Framed Florets Dies to create this soft and pretty Thank You card in purple hues.

I started off by creating a cardstock mask from a panel measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″. The oval frame from the Framed Florets Dies was centered on this panel and die cut. The center of the oval frame was set aside for a future project. I layered the die cut mask over another white panel measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″. A blending brush was used to first blend Highland Heather ink across the center opening of the frame. I then blended Gorgeous Grape around the edges of the oval center opening leaving the center of this oval lighter in color to give the impression of light.

With the mask still in place a Stamparatus was used to stamp the flower image in the oval center using Tuxedo Black Memento ink in order to get a nice clear image. The mask was then removed.

The oval hearts die was centered around the ink blended and stamped oval and die cut. This die cut panel was adhered to a Gorgeous Grape mat. The outer frame was then adhered around the ink blended and stamped oval. The panel was then adhered to a card base in Highland Heather using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a label measuring 4″ x 3/4″. The sentiment label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned towards the bottom of the oval frame.

For the inside panel I 3rd generation stamped the watercolor image from the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set in Highland Heather ink on the lower left of the panel. I then stamped the small flower image over this using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The inside panel was then adhered to the inside of the card base.

The envelope was stamped with the same watercolor image and small flower image from the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set on the envelope front and envelope flap.

Several Matte Black Dots were adhered to the card front to finish off the card.

NEW! Introducing Craft & Chat Sessions

Wouldn’t it be great to have some dedicated time to work on your latest card or scrapbooking project? I thought I’d try something new!

Would you like to gather remotely with fellow crafters to work on projects, chit chat, ask crafting questions, share a technique with the group, and generally have fun? If your answer is “yes” then these Craft & Chat sessions are for you!

Beginning in December I will be offering monthly Craft & Chat sessions. Here is how it works:

• Look for the sign-up invitation from me on my blog and newsletter then email me to let me know you’re interested in participating. December’s invitation is below.
• Just prior to the Craft & Chat, I’ll email you a Zoom call link.
• Join the Craft & Chat via Zoom video call from the comfort of your own home.
• Craft & Chats will be limited to no more than 10 participants – that way everyone will have a chance to participate.
• Craft & Chats will occur on the 2nd Wednesday of every month and are FREE -there is no fee associated with Craft & Chats.
• The Craft & Chat session will last around 45 minutes.
• Bring your current projects that you’re working on and plan to have fun and meet new friends!
