I’ve used the Grassy Grove Stamp Set and Grove Dies to make several cards in the past – one was a spring themed card and the other was a summer themed card. Today I’m using the Grassy Grove stamps and dies to create a fall-themed card. Here are the previous cards made from the Grassy Grove set.

I love the versatility of these stamps and dies!
For today’s card I started with a card base in Crushed Curry. I first created a background that would sit behind the large tree die cut frame and I stamped a row of pine trees towards the bottom of this panel then used blending brushes to create the sky using Balmy Blue and Gorgeous Grape.
For the tree frame die cut I used blending brushes again to color the entire frame in Daffodil Delight ink, then came back with Mossy Meadow to blend a little green onto the die cut frame for the leaves on the trees. Crushed Curry was also blended in spots to darken the tree canopy. A Stampin’ Blend was used on the frame to darken some of the leaves in Cajun Craze then I blended this out a bit with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. The tree trunks were colored in using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. The die cut tree frame was adhered to the background panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then this unit was adhered to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered to the card front with liquid glue.
For the foreground of the scene, I stamped the small hill and used sponge daubers to ink up the stamp in Mossy Meadow, Gorgeous Grape and Crushed Curry then stamped this on white cardstock. This image was die cut and adhered to the die cut tree frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Several greenery sprigs were die cut in Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green and tucked under the hill die cut.
A sentiment from the Hope & Prayer Stamp Set was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto Crushed Curry cardstock then adhered to a mossy meadow mat. A small linen thread double bow was adhered to the upper left of the sentiment label along with a small leaf sprig.
Pine trees were stamped in Mossy Meadow on the inside panel and this panel was adhered to a Mossy Meadow mat, then adhered inside of the card base. Pine trees also adorn the envelope front and envelope flap.

The Grassy Grove Stamp Set and Grove Dies are one of my favorite sets! I’ve started planning how I’ll create a winter scene with this set and I already have some ideas on how to accomplish this – it has become a personal challenge for me to create a card for each season using this set.
This is such a satisfying set to play with! I was going to say it is a satisfying set to “work” with…but that wouldn’t be accurate…it’s too much fun! I hope you give this card a try and put your own spin on a fall scene.

Thank you, Amy. The barn card was actually a previous card I had made for summer. Today’s card is the one in fall colors at the top of the page. 🙂
