Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie Holiday Card

Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed a great weekend. We had some really awesome weather here on the east coast with blue skies and perfect temps!

Who can resist a cute little dog with a pretty red bow? Not me! As soon as I saw the Christmas Scottie Bundle in the catalog, I knew I had to have it! And since I’m a Westie mom, this cute Scottie may become a Westie on a future card!

My card today primarily involves stamping, punching of the Scottie and bow, and adhering the layers to the card…that’s it! You can make this card in minutes.

I started by second-generation stamping snowflakes in Balmy Blue on the white panel, then stamping the long ribbon in Real Red ink around the perimeter of the panel. Next the sentiment was stamped directly onto the white panel. The Scottie and bow were stamped and punched using the coordinating Scottie Dog Punch. The bow was adhered to the Scottie then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals, to adhere the dog to the panel. The white panel was adhered to its Real Red mat, then this unit was adhered to the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped an additional greeting and second generation stamped snowflakes around the perimeter of the white panel. The panel was adhered to it’s Real Red mat and then adhered to the inside of the card.

To finish up I stamped snowflakes on the envelope front and envelope flap and added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

It doesn’t get any easier than this! I hope you’ll give it a try!
