Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer Christmas Card

The Regal Reindeer Stamp Set and Reindeer Dies create a beautiful forest holiday scene! The image of the trio of pine trees in this set is one of the prettiest I have seen! I’m a push-over for images that can be stamped and colored (in case you haven’t noticed by now – insert smile…) but I think you’ll enjoy playing with the Regal Reindeer Bundle too!

I started off with an Evening Evergreen cardstock card base. The card front was built onto a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock and matted with black.

The images of the little girl, reindeer and pine trees were stamped onto Basic White cardstock and colored using a variety of Stampin’ Blends. But these images could easily be colored using markers or watercolor pencils…the choice is yours!

The colored images were die cut using the coordinating Reindeer Dies, along with two snowbanks and the stamped sentiment label. I wanted to bring some richness into the card front, so I also die cut a single pine tree, star and several bells from Gold Foil Sheets. The gold was the perfect touch!

The scene was assembled onto the Soft Succulent panel, and I added specs of white craft ink for falling snow onto the panel and added some Wink of Stella on the snowbanks and tree limbs just to add a little sparkle.

The card front was finished off with a bow tied from Gold & Vanilla Satin Edge Ribbon and several gold Festive Pearls.

The trio of pine trees were also stamped and colored on the inside panel as well as the envelope front and envelope flap.
