Stampin’ Up! Happier Than Happy Congratulations Card Fun Fold – Friday Fun Day

Happy Friday! I have a fun fold card for you today…a pop-up card using the Happier Than Happy Bundle and the Happy Forest Friends 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. This set is so cute!

I started with a card base in Smoky Slate and used a piece of the DSP for the card front showing a forest scene. This adorable paper does most of the work here! I went with a simple white die cut square for the sentiment label and decorated the label with a die cut pine tree, a stamped and die cut mushroom and a fussy cut mushroom from the DSP.

For the inside of the card another piece of DSP was used with a forest theme. A rectangular tube was created in cardstock to form the pop-up portion of the card and adhered inside of the card to the card base. A strip of the same DSP was adhered to the front side of the rectangular tube. I stamped the bear, tree stump and pine tree from the Happier Than Happy Bundle then die cut the pieces and adhered these to the pop-up mechanism. A fussy cut mushroom was also added. A white panel decorated with a die cut pine tree was added inside of the card.

The envelope front was decorated with several stamped images from the set, and I adhered a coordinating piece of the DSP to the envelope flap and fussy cut around the flap to finish the envelope.

When the card is opened, the bear, pine tree and other forest pieces pop-up. The little bear even appears to be waving! The best part about this fun fold is that the card will stand on its own when opened to display this cute little scene!

This fun fold would be so great using other stamp and die bundles and I can’t wait to create another card using this fun fold!

Have a wonderful weekend! Stay safe, have fun and stay crafty!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World Congratulations Card

The Wonderful World Bundle from the July-August 2022 Sale-A-Bration catalog is by far my favorite! Although it’s a tough call… The stamps are gorgeous, and the Designer Series Paper is AMAZINGLY beautiful! You can earn the Wonderful World Bundle by placing a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration ($100 or more). If you want this bundle, don’t delay! Items in the Sale-A-Bration catalog are while supplies last. One of the Sale-A-Bration items has already sold out.

I chose a Blackberry Bliss card base for my card today and adhered a piece of the Wonderful World DSP to the card base front. I then fussy cut one of the large flowers from a piece of the DSP and adhered that to a die cut and matted piece of Blackberry Bliss. The square die cut was turned on point to form a diamond and the fussy cut flower was adhered to the diamond. I then popped up this unit to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Charming Sentiments Bundle, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock using VersaMark ink, then embossed the sentiment using White Embossing Powder. The sentiment was die cut using the coordinating die from the Charming Sentiments Bundle. This was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A white Crinkled Seem Binding Ribbon bow was attached to the stem of the flower, and I added a few purple Glossy Dots to the card front. A strip of coordinating DSP was added to the inside panel and this panel was adhered inside of the card.

The iris image was stamped onto the envelope front in Blackberry Bliss ink and a piece of coordinating DSP was added to the envelope flap and I fussy cut around the flap to finish off the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Stylish Sketches Thank You Card

These sweet little ducks on this card came from the Stylish Sketches Stamp Set which you can earn free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration which runs through August 31. I also used the Fabulous Frames Dies and a sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set.

I started with a card base in Gray Granite and wrapped a length of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around a panel in Cherry Cobbler. A frame was die cut in Gray Granite cardstock and adhered to the Cherry Cobbler panel. The image of the ducks was stamped onto white cardstock, then using the same die from the Fabulous Frames Dies I cut the stamped image out and adhered to the center of the frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

When coloring the image of the ducks I kept the colors light and soft. A small bow was tied using the Shimmer Ribbon and adhered under the frame. A sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp set was stamped in Gray Granite ink and adhered to the card front below the frame.

The leaf image from the Stylish Sketches set was stamped in Gray Granite ink for the inside panel as well as the envelope front and envelope flap. This completes the card. How sweet are these little ducks?

Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Congratulations Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

The theme for today’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop is “celebrate summer” and what better way to celebrate summer than with flowers! What’s your favorite summer flower?

My card for today’s Hop was created using the Blessings of Home Stamp Set and the Flowers of Home Dies. The large image from the Blessings of Home stamp set is one of my favorites so I was excited to pull out this set for my card today! I also used the Deckled Rectangles Dies and the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set was used for the inside greeting. A piece of the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper was used on the envelope flap. Card details, including measurements, can be found on the project sheet which is linked towards the bottom of this post.

I started off with a card base in Sweet Sorbet – one of our new In Colors. I used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Basic White cardstock. A piece of Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon was wrapped around the embossed panel twice vertically and the ribbon ends were adhered to the back of the embossed panel. This panel was then adhered to a Basic Black mat, then this unit was adhered to the card base.

The large flower bouquet image was used from the Blessings of Home stamp set and the image was stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. The image was then colored in with an assortment of Stampin’ Blends. The image was then die cut using the coordinating Flowers of Home Dies. While die cutting, I also die cut several greenery sprigs from Basic White cardstock using the Flowers of Home Dies also. I stamped the sentiment “What a Beautiful Day” onto a piece of scrap white cardstock. The full sentiment reads “What a Beautiful Day for Love” but I used a piece of washi tape to block out the words “for Love”, inked the stamp, removed the Washi tape then stamped the sentiment. The sentiment was then die cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.

On a Basic White cardstock panel I stamped the smaller flower bouquet image from the Blessings of Home stamp set onto the lower right corner of the panel. I also stamped a greeting from the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set on this panel. The flower image was colored in using the same Stampin’ Blends colors that were used on the larger image. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card base. I stamped and colored this same image on the envelope front. A coordinating piece of paper from the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper was adhered to the envelope flap. I then fussy cut around the envelope flap to finish off the envelope.

The large die cut flower bouquet image was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed towards the upper left corner over top of the ribbon. The die cut greenery sprigs in white were tucked in on either side of the popped-up image to slightly overhang the embossed panel. I also popped up the sentiment label using Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed in the lower right corner. This completes my card for the blog hop!

Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings and Rustic Pumpkins Thinking of You Card

Happy Monday! Today’s card features the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set and the Rustic Pumpkins Dies. I started with a card base in Cherry Cobbler.

On a Very Vanilla panel I repeatedly stamped the maple leaf from the Soft Seedlings stamp set. I love creating card backgrounds using this technique! The stamp from this set has maple seedlings attached but I used my paper snips to cut the stamp in two pieces so that I could use only the maple leaf. The two pieces can be easily matched up again and placed on a stamping block in order to stamp the entire image. The vanilla panel was matted to a piece of Early Espresso then this unit was adhered to the card front.

The maple leaf was also stamped on the inside panel and envelope front and flap. I then used a small amount of Stampin’ Seal on the center of the card front and looped a length of gold Simply Elegant Trim and adhered to the Stampin’ Seal.

The two pumpkin dies, pumpkin stem, and vine were die cut in Gold Foil. I also die cut a circle in Early Espresso using the largest circle die from the Layering Circles Dies. The pumpkin was assembled then adhered to the circle then this unit was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a sentiment label at an angle in the upper left corner of the card then added a Rustic Metallic Dot.

This completes the card for today. You can find the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set and the Rustic Pumpkin Dies in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I just love the rich, warm colors of Fall! How about you?

Stampin’ Up Campology – Friday Fun Day – Fun Fold Pop Out Card

Happy Friday! I hope everyone has been enjoying a relaxing week…or at least stress-free!

I seem to be strolling down memory lane a lot lately! This card reminds me of camping when I was younger…I did a lot of camping! First as a Girl Scout, then as a Scout Leader. Lots of fun and lots of good memories.

You might miss the Campology Stamp Set in the Annual Catalog but it is one you might want to check out further. The fun images and sentiments are perfect for a masculine card, youth card, or anyone that enjoys the outdoors.

I paired this stamp set with paper from the Rustic Harvest 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack. I chose the black and white acorn print (can you see the adorable little acorns on this paper?) and the Mossy Meadow swirls print. All of the DSP was matted onto Basic Black cardstock.

I chose the lantern image along with the sentiment “You brighten my path” for the front of the card. A little stamping, coloring, and matting and the card is complete!

How would you decorate this fun fold? Let me know in the comments below.

Stampin’ Up! Lighthouse Point Friendship Card – Another Watercolor Background for you to Try

In honor of National Watercolor Month, I have another watercolor background for you to try! I used the Lighthouse Point Bundle for today’s card and the background scene really sets off this beautiful lighthouse! This set reminds me of all of the gorgeous lighthouses in Maine.

I will admit that this card took a bit longer to create, but so worth it. I provide step by step instructions in my project sheet so be sure to check it out. The card sits on a Real Red card base, and I die cut a number of pieces to assemble the lighthouse. The watercolor panel was painted, and I adhered the lighthouse to this panel. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the water to indicate sparkle!

This set comes with two sizes of sentiment labels. I used the smaller die cut for the actual sentiment and the larger die for a mat for the sentiment…perfect! A lighthouse, beam and rocks were stamped on the inside of the card as well as the envelope front to complete this project.

Stampin’ Up! Fish & A Wish Get Well Card in Honor of National Watercolor Month!

In honor of National Watercolor Month, today’s card features an underwater watercolor background for our happy fishes! Creating this ombre-like watercolor panel is easy and quick and I provide complete instructions in the project sheet.

The Fish & A Wish Bundle were used for today’s card which includes the stamp set and a Fish Builder Punch. I first painted the watercolor background using three different blue inks – Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Pacific Point. Some see grass was stamped onto the watercolor panel in Night of Navy ink. I then stamped and punched the fish and adhered them to the card front. I popped up one of the fish using Stampin’ Dimensionals to provide some depth to the scene.

The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock then punched out using the builder punch. I punched out a second fish in Pacific Point cardstock and layered this behind the fish sentiment label to provide a shadow behind the sentiment. This was added to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the wave image and small fish from the stamp set and stamped these images on the inside card panel as well as the envelope front and envelope flap.

Lastly, I added multiple Opal Rounds to the card front to give the impression of bubbles. How cute are these little fishes…and so easy to stamp and punch out!

Stampin’ Up! Happier Than Happy Friendship Card

How adorable is this forest scene using the Happier Than Happy Bundle and the Happy Forest Friends 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper! Our little fox is wandering through the forest surrounded by trees, falling leaves and greenery.

I started with a card base of Soft Suede topped with a piece of the Happy Forest Friends DSP. I stamped the fox and tree stump and die cut them using the coordinating dies from the Happy Forest Dies set. I also die cut a number of leaves, pine trees and a little acorn using this same die set using cardstock scraps of various colors.

The sentiment for the card came from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set which is a Sale-A-Bration item which you can get for free with a qualifying order! A twill bow was added to the card front to complete this cute little card. I’ll be sending this to a friend who I don’t get to see as much anymore and I’m sure it will bring a smile to her face when she receives it!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World Thinking of You Card

Happy 4th of July! I’ll be keeping this short today so that I can enjoy time with my family.

This card was made with the Wonderful World Stamp Set and the Wonderful World 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.  Isn’t the image and paper gorgeous?  You can earn the Wonderful World Stamp Set and DSP during Sale-A-Bration with an order of $100 (prior to shipping and tax).  The paper is beyond beautiful and the images in the stamp set are equally as beautiful! This is a distinctive stamp set!

I started by adhering a piece of the DSP to an Orchid Oasis card base. I then added a thin strip of Orchid Oasis cardstock on top of the DSP panel. I used the Deckled Rectangles dies to die cut a panel of white cardstock then stamped the flower image onto this panel. I used sponge daubers to ink up the stamp. The sentiment label was also die cut using the Deckled Rectangle Dies and matted to a piece of Orchid Oasis.

A double strand of metallic ribbon was tied in a knot and adhered to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. The knot was tucked slightly under the top center of the sentiment label. To finish off the card I added three silver Festive Pearls to the card front.
