Today’s project uses the Dahlia Days Bundle. The star of this card is the blended dahlia which appears on the card front, envelope and on the inside of the card! The dahlia was stamped in Pale Papaya ink on Pale Papaya cardstock, then with a blender pen, Calypso Coral ink was used to shade the dahlia to really make it stand out. Of course, the Very Vanilla die cut lace over the black card mat helps to increase the drama of this card as well.
Ink blending using a blender pen is not difficult and doesn’t take a lot of time, but the reward is great! Give it a try and let me know what you think. Blender pens are quickly becoming one of my favorite tools!
You can find the project sheet for this card by clicking here. A link to my online store is included at the bottom of the project sheet if you’d like to purchase the items to make this card, or you can click on the “Shop with me” button at the top right of the screen.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another Friday Fun Day project so be sure to stop back to check it out. Wishing you a wonderful day!
