Today’s card is my take on a masculine Valentine’s Day card. I CASE’d the fun fold idea from YouTuber Rick Adkins but put my own spin on the card.
The colors used on this card are Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and two different patterns from the 12″ x 12″ In Good Taste Designer Series Paper – including a dark wood grain pattern and a brick pattern. The sentiment label on the front of the card was “antiqued” around the edges using Crumb Cake ink and a sponge dauber. Linen thread was wrapped around the card front and no bows or shiny bling were used. I think any man would like to receive this card. This card is for my husband for Valentine’s Day!
The card base on this card is non-standard so care needs to be taken when adhering the rectangular, die cut mats and heart towards the top of the card. I go into detail on the instruction sheet for this card on how to make sure your placement of this focal section is good before adhering to the card front. After all, it needs to fit into the envelope!
You can click here for the instructions to make this card. A link is included at the bottom of the instructions document for a link to my online store if you’d like to purchase the items used to make this card, or you can click on the “Shop With Me Now” button on the top right of my website.
Thanks for dropping by and having a look at today’s project! Have a wonderful day.
Bee well, Bee happy!
